ROBBIE WILLIAMS DEFENDS 'CRUISING' MICHAEL

ROBBIE WILLIAMS has defended pop pal GEORGE MICHAEL after the singer was caught at a notorious gay 'cruising' spot, insisting he'd do the same if he could get casual sex so easily. Michael was exposed by a British newspaper, which caught him enjoying a late night encounter with a male stranger at Hampstead Heath, near his north London home. But Williams sympathises, saying, "If there was a wood near my house full of women who wanted sex then I'd find it difficult not to go there."

Why does he need a wood? He has Hotel Lobbys....

ROBBIE WILLIAMS: 'I'LL NEVER MARRY'

Single pop heartthrob ROBBIE WILLIAMS has vowed never to marry, because he isn't capable of remaining faithful. The singer has dated sexy celebrities GERI HALLIWELL, RACHEL HUNTER and NICOLE APPLETON, but wants to stay single so he can make the most of his popularity with the opposite sex. The 32-year-old, who quit alcohol five years ago after undergoing rehab, says, "For the first two or three years of my sobriety I was desperate to be in a relationship because I thought it would fix me. "But if you're in a relationship you have to keep your d**k in your pants - and I'd struggle with that. "Now I don't want one, I look at every relationship and think, 'What's in that for me.'"

Em, anyone seen the Sun's online page? In today's paper there is Vicky's track-by-track review of the album. But do we really want to know what she has to say? :puke2:

It also says that the full, "exclusive" interview is in the paper (the only extract given is this "I'll never marry" - part which is already on contactmusic). I can hardly believe Rob gave Bizzare an interview.

Doesn't that mean he would have talked to Vicky...? :o

About the whole "I'll never marry"- thing. I think it might just be the right way. I think when you're looking too desperately for your soulmate also putting yourself under a certain pressure, nothing will happen. The best things in life often happen to you when you least expect them and when you're not deliberately looking.

BTW, how funny that the headline goes "I'll never marry" and then in the article he says "I won't be fit to marry for another 10 years". Wouldn't call that NEVER.

But of course it makes for a better headline.

Somebody from TRWS has bought The Sun and you'll never guess: The album review is really positive! :o

Shocking, isn't it...?

And although I'm still sceptical they seem to have an exclusive interview (there also will be another part tomorrow), it even says "our lawyers are watching", so people should be very careful posting the entire thing or even quotes from it.

It's a great review, I read it in Tesco's and it gave me goosebumples.

VN also went to the gig in Vienna and said that she was proud to be British and that Rob is one of our finest exports

I'm sure Rob would be pleased to know that Mark Owen is a Daddy

Baby Elwood was born at the weekend

Oh my, someone has changed their tune ... :o :o :o

I'm even more shocked she was in the stadium at the same time as me...

I got the Sun today.

Apparently she was in Vienna to review his concert. He found out about it and phoned her to come up to his Hotel room for a private 'listening' of the new album. She listened then he gave her an exclusive 2 hour interview. :o

I am really very shocked and not best pleased. She goes out of her way to ridicule him and call his single the worst ever. And he rewards her with an Exclusive interview?

Maybe I'm just very naive....

Hmm I think maybe you are a little.

How much publicity did he get from her negative review, I guess the exclusive interview was her reward ;)

Oh and her review of the album is very good. She reckons Lovelight and She's Madonna (or whatever it's called) are definite Number 1s.

But then again she said in her initial review of Intensive Care that she loved it and it was his best album ever. Within a few months she hated it.....

Anyway, it's a really long interview and Part 2 is tomorrow. But I'm not posting any of it as 1) It's by her and I can't be bothered and 2) They have a big copyright-our lawyers are watching rider at the bottom. <_<

You could be right Linz. After all, what is it they say? 'There's no such thing as bad publicity'. Maybe they are in cahoots....

I really can't stand her though. It really sticks in my craw that he'd even talk to her.

WILLIAMS BERATES REALITY SHOWS

British pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS has hit out at reality television shows for manipulating people with mental health problems. The FEEL singer enjoys watching programmes like AMERICAL IDOL and THE X FACTOR, which features wannabe singers, but feels that other reality hits are simply exploiting vulnerable people for entertainment value. Williams is particularly disturbed by British show LOVE ISLAND, which features single celebrities trying to find love on a Fijian paradise isle. Williams says: "I'll watch any old s***, but I refused to watch BIG BROTHER this year because it's like looking at mental patients. "Same with Love Island - it's human beings having nervous breakdowns in front of the whole nation. Some things should be kept at home. "If you had put me in Love Island after I'd just left TAKE THAT, then I would have been f**ked - I'd be crying all the time too."

ROBBIE WILLIAMS: GIVE ME SEX NOT MARRIAGE

By Mirror.co.uk

SUPERSTAR Robbie Williams has given up looking for a wife – because he can’t resist playing the field.

The 32-year-old singer dated a string of beauties including Nicole Appleton, Andrea Corr, Anna Friel and Rachel Hunter as he searched for a soulmate.

But now, he says, he is happy to remain single and reckons he won’t become “marriage material†for at least 10 years.

Sympathising with George Michael’s recent adventures on London’s Hampstead heath, Robbie reveals: "If there was a wood near my house full of women who wanted to have sex then I'd find it difficult not to go there.

"I won't be fit to marry for another 10 years - just look at my life.

"For the first two or three years of my sobriety I was desperate to be in a relationship because I thought it would fix me.

"But if you're in a relationship you have to keep your **** in your pants - and I'd struggle with that. Now I don't want one. I look at every relationship and think 'What's in it for me?’"

Robbie, currently on tour and promoting his new album, also spoke of his ongoing battle to stay drug-free despite years of therapy.

"I hate drugs, I love drugs. They haven't invented a new one that's not bad for you or less depressing than Ecstasy, or one that makes you less paranoid than coke. As depressing as it is, as soul-destroying, relationship- destroying as it is, it makes life f***ing interesting," he admitted.

When not on stage, Robbie is obsessed by football and British reality TV shows. But he adds: “I’ll watch any old s*** but I refused to watch Big Brother this year because it’s like looking at mental patients.â€

There could be mars bars involved ^_^

Was he on the front of the UK Sun also? It was great having him on the front page :cheer:

I am plesently suprised by VN review. A great review which Robstar has gone to the trouble of typing up. Here it is for those who have'nt read it :cheer:

HIS BABY.....

Robbie's new album Rudebox is his baby - he loves every track and says it's a collection of songs he listened to in his bedroom.

It has eclectic mix of disco, hip hop electronica and Eighties pop and country.

Track by track.

Rudebox is released on October 23rd, with the single out on September 4th. Check out the Rudebox dance at www.rudebox74.com

1. RUDEBOX

I branded it the worst record in history.

Robbie says it's his favourite track on the album, but it is one of those tracks you either love or hate. I am pleased to say the rest of the album has some real corkers on it.

2. VIVA LIFE ON MARS

This has a real country feel about it with banjos and harmonica as accompaniment. You can almost imagine Robbie line dancing to this one in the video.

3 LOVELIGHT

This is Robbie doing his best Jake Shears impression with an impressive falsetto vocal performance.

This Mark Ronson collaboration will be massive on the dance floors, it has a catchy disco-inspired funky tune that Jamiroquai's Jay Kay will be miffed that he didn't come up with. A No.1 hit.

4. KING OF THE BONGO :arrr:

This features the vocals of Lily Allen and is a cover of the Manu Chao world classic. Robbie adds his own touch to it by rapping in FRENCH.

5. SHE'S MADONNA

My favourite track, this collaboration with the Pet Shope Boys has beautiful chords, a simple but effective melody and Robbie's vocal sends shivers down the spine.

Robbie sings about wanting to take Madonna home. It's about him telling his current girl "I'm sorry love, but she's Madonna"

A definite No.1 single.

6 KEEP ON

This is Robbie doing 1989 style baggy pop - I am thinking Happy Mondays, Primal Scream. Robbie doing Indie funk with Lily Allen on backing vocals, a stomping, uplifting tune.

7. GOOD DOCTOR

A hilarious pop at American precription drug culture, it is a hip hop classic produced by Mark Ronson. Clever, funny and very different from anything Robbie has done.

7. THE ACTOR

This is Robbie's stab at German electro pop. And although he insists it isn't about any actor, he raps about Joaquim Phoenix.

9 NEVER TOUCH THAT SWITCH

Produced by fellow Stoke natives Soul Mekanik, Not my fav on the album..

10. LOUISE

Robbie asked William Orbit to help apply some of his genius to this classic Human League song. It was one of Robbie's favourites while growing up.

The end result is quite simply breathtaking. It's chilled, ambient and pop at its best.

11. WE'RE THE PET SHOP BOYS

A cover of a cover, Robbie teamed up with Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe to cover their cover of My Robot Friend's track.

12. BURSLEM NORMALS

He rekindles his partnership with Rock DJ collaborators Danny Spencer and Kelvin Andrews.

It's a haunting electronic ballad with Robbie's vocals stripped back to basics.

13. KISS ME

Joey Negro helped work his magic to cover this classic Stephen Duffy track.

Robbie said: "I wanted to help Stephen realise what a brilliant song this is"

14. THE 80's

Inspired by Mike Skinner and the Mitchell Brothers, this is all about Robbie growing up in 1980s Stoke-on-Trent. Robbie is at his cheeky, hilarious best and the lyrics are so raunchy! he'll have to make sure his mum doesn't hear them.

15 The 90s

Love this track. It's Mike Skinner inspired. It charts Robbie's torrid time during the Take That years. He has a pop at Gary Barlow, and ex-manager Nigel Martin Smith should beware. Robbie's most inventive track on the album.

16 SUMMERTIME

Another William Orbit chilled anthem with soaring vocals and strings. I can just imagine listening to this as the sun sets in Ibiza at Cafe Del Mar

Thanks Jackie ^_^

Edited by Scotty.

Color me skeptical, but of course VN gave it a good review!! She had Robbie sitting there while she was listening to it...she's not stupid!!

Not that I doubt it's a great cd, but I guarantee if she didn't have this "exclusive, personal listening party" she would not be so kind.

I understand what you mean but i doubt he sat next to hear while she wrote it. I'm sure she listened with him and then wrote the review in her own private time. -_-

Oh and this comment is also shocking :o

Victoria obviously loved the gig - 'It made me proud to be British to see one of our finest exports prove he is among the best showmen in the world'.

I'm sure she listened with him and then wrote the review in her own private time.

No kidding, I realize that...but if she didn't give it a good review, she knows these opportunities would not present themselves again.

Just like when he got all the journalists in the room to ask them about things they had said about him...they weren't so out-spoken when he was standing in their face!
