I was just about to post the damned thing Scotty.

I too have sent off my feedback. I called it appalling journalism and a load of twaddle. <_<

I've copied and pasted it.

Fans keep Robbie on top but for how long?

By Lee Harvey, MSN Search Editor

Last updated September 13 2006

Recent reports would have you believe that Hotlist perennial Robbie Williams is experiencing some sort of career crisis.

He recently admitted failure in his attempt to break America after several full blooded attempts. New single Rudebox, his first release without songwriting partner Guy Chambers, then charted spectacularly badly. Was it really the best idea to abandon his winning formula for a diet fusion of rap and electro?

But while the newspapers speculate, fans have spoken on the Hotlist. With a daily average of over 1,200 search queries, Robbie has been ever-present in the Hotlist Top 30 for over a month. He’s also the top man when it comes to music searches. This week's arrival of his Close Encounters tour was enough to lift the hitherto unheralded Milton Keynes Bowl into an improbable 15th place on today’s Hotlist.

How long can Stoke’s cheekiest chappy maintain this search dominance? He certainly faces a tough challenge from a range of less commercial but more credible bands.

Scissor Sisters, fresh from a triumphant headline appearance at Bestival and selling out a showpiece gig in Trafalgar Square, look to be the No 1 contenders and have shimmied into Hotlist’s Top 5 Music searches. The Killers and Mercury prize winners Arctic Monkeys are Hotlist’s highest music climbers as fans anticipate their upcoming new material.

I hope that idiot who wrote the article reads the feedback. Why can't the press just write an article with making things up. The sad thing is alot of people actually believe them cause they don't know the facts. Today's NOTW atticle being an expample.

I was just lying in my bath thinking that at least he only has 2 more concerts to do in the UK. Then he can get to hell out of this cess-pit of a country with it's joke press. :arrr: :arrr: :arrr:
Wonder what the Blessed Vicky will have in her rag tomorrow? Dread to think.

More Robbie tickets for Perth

September 18, 2006 10:44am

MORE tickets to Robbie Williams' sold out shows on November 30 and December 1, will go on sale on october 5, following a re-think by promoters on seating arrangements.

It had looked as though just less than half a million eager Australians would get to see Robbie perform live in Australia this year, but promoter Chugg Entertainment announced today that more seats to this sold out concerts would be released to the general public.

New tickets for the Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide shows will go on sale on Wednesday, October 4, followed by the Melbourne and Perth shows on sale on Thursday, October 5.

Michael Chugg and his production team recently flew to Cologne, Germany to watch Williams’ Close Encounters show live.

When the Australian production experts met with Williams’ team and reviewed the layout and sight lines of the Australian stadiums, they confirmed that they could offer more tickets to die hard fans.

These will be tickets available to either side of the stage and in other areas of the venue.

U2, Abba, Madonna, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones all come to mind when we think of huge names in music with massive sell out concerts but none have had a tour this successful.

In Europe schools closed and people waited in line for 48 hours to purchase tickets that sold out in less than 2 hours.

A new Guinness World Record was set after Robbie Williams’ tour sold more than 1.6 million concert tickets for his 2006 world tour - earning an estimated $144 million in one day.

The Robbie Williams Close Encounters Tour is a phenomenon taking the world by storm and in November, it will reach Australia’s shores playing to nine stadiums across every major city with between 50,000 and 60,000 people at every show.

Australians bought up every ticket within hours of them being offered and more than six months before the concert was scheduled to play.

There is no doubt in the mind of promoter Michael Chugg that this is the biggest show Australia has ever seen.

Logistical statistics back up his claim: Three years of planning, 360 tonnes of equipment, more than 200 crew and a fleet of trucks and buses taking almost a week to construct the stage with two giant scorpion tails measuring 66 meters by 26 meters, eight giant tusks made from 6,800 LED blocks and 125 meters of video wall.

The show is described as “an unearthly fusion of the supernatural with enough modern technology to power an early lunar landing†.

Once this final release of tickets has been sold out there will be no more tickets released and no new shows scheduled. Australia.

Perth dates are: Thursday, November 30 and Friday, December 1 at Subiaco Oval.

New tickets go on sale at 9am, Thursday, October 5 through Tickemaster at www.ticketmaster.com.au or by phoning 136 100.

me thinks Michaela Dubekova isnt too clever if she thinks that he would wait

from Sue Lynskey:

"We got to the Bowl on Saturday, allowed in at 2.pm, and were issued silver ring tickets for the inner circle. Guy hits on the Robster

September 19, 2006

GUY CHAMBERS has revealed the door is open for ROBBIE WILLIAMS to reform their hitmaking partnership.

But songwriter Guy’s condition is that Robbie releases a duet with Latina beauty SHAKIRA.

Guy and Rob worked together on a string of anthemic hits including Angels, Rock DJ and Supreme.

Now Guy reckons his Shakira plan could rocket the Robster to the top of the charts both here and in America.

When asked what would be a good reason for him and Rob to reunite after their bitter split, Guy replied: “If he ever duets with Shakira.

“He should always have done that. It would be the perfect match and I would like to write the tune for it. It would be a worldwide hit and would break Robbie in America.â€

Guy also revealed that a major factor in his split from Rob was the former TAKE THAT star’s move to the States.

Guy said: “I think one of the main reasons that our partnership stopped working was him moving to Los Angeles was very tricky.

“If I’d also moved out there we may have continued working together. But that idea wasn’t really going to be possible.â€

Over to you, Robbie.

Hollywood shines as the ego lands in MK

Robbie might be so knackered that he's had to cancel the Asian leg of his world tour but you wouldn't have known it from his performance at Milton Keynes last night.

Opening for the Robster were Hollywood rockers Orson who have had an incredible journey since their arrival from La La Land just under a year ago.

From the confidence with which front man Jason Pebworth worked the 65,000 strong crowd, getting the whole place singing along with the "Ooh ooh ee oohs" on 'No Tomorrow,' you would never have guessed that in just a few short months they have gone from relative unknowns to one of the USA's most promising new bands.

And, that Britain has wholeheartedly embraced these American sons, was happily acknowledged by Pebworth at the end of the set with a declaration "we love England, we've come home."

Next up were Basement Jaxx with a storming, visually exciting performance featuring larger than life characters aplenty, including the screaming horn section attired, to a man, in kilts complete with blue face paint.

Even the appearance of a band member dressed as an ostrich could not detract from Jaxx classics 'Where's Your Head At' and 'Good Luck,' which sat happily alongside offerings from the latest CD 'Crazy Itch Radio.'

Robbie Williams live at the Bowl And then it was time for the main man.

What can I say, having watched the Leeds show on Sky at the weekend, I was expecting a slightly under par performance but, though the voice didn't always sound up to his best, the showman was very definitely in attendance.

The double act with best mate Jonny Wilkes was turned from trite to triumph with the surprise arrival of Ant and Dec to challenge Jonny and Robbie's claim to the best double act crown.

And such is the charm of Robbie's live performances that I was even won over to the ridiculously titled 'Rude Box.'

At the end of the show the boy from Stoke pooh poohed media claims that his career is going down the pan and with performances like this you just have to believe him.

Knackered he might be but finished he's certainly not.

Robbie Williams' Shakira duet?

LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - Robbie Williams could be set to record a duet with Shakira, if his former songwriting partner gets his way.

Gy Chambers masterminded several of Robbie's biggest hits, including 'Angles' and 'Rock DJ', but the pair parted ways after a clash over the singer's multi-million pound recording deal with EMI.

However, Guy insists he is now ready to call a truce on the pair's feud and pen another hit for Robbie if he agrees to collaborate with Shakira.

Guy is convinced a duet between the pair could be the thing that launches Robbie's career in the US, where the Latin beauty is a huge star.

He told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "He should have always done that. It would be the perfect match and I would like to write the tune for it. It would be a worldwide hit and would break Robbie in America."

Guy has also revealed that one of the main reasons the pair disbanded their hugely successful partnership was because Robbie wanted to move to Los Angeles.

He added: "One of the main reasons our partnership ended was because he moved to Los Angeles.

"If I'd also moved out there we may have continued working together. But that idea wasn't really going to be possible."

The great thing about Robbie Williams is that what Robbie wants, Robbie gets. And during Thursday evening's performance the chap wanted an ice cream – and Mr Whippy's finest was soon rustled up for our all-entertaining host.

All 65,000 Robbie fans got their fill at the gig too – a deliciously pooled pick of the Williams pops that began with Radio, and wound up two hours later with Kids.

In between? One long hit parade was rolled before us – Rock DJ, Millennium and Make Me Pure are obvious choices to keep the ripe audience enthused, and the band? Pure class that gelled perfectly with their master.

Now imagine the fun you could have if you took your best pal to work with you.

That's exactly what Robbie has done for this tour, and he introduces Jonathan Wilkes by saying "He's the Ant to my Dec, the Crouch to my Rooney", before the pair launch into a truly fitting rendition of Me and My Shadow.

They are simply a couple of lads having a laugh on a night out.

Albeit with a somewhat expanded circle of friends. Blimey, at one point it's like watching Morecambe and Wise. It makes you smile.

Max Beasley makes an appearance on the drum stool, and current single Rudebox is a highlight among highlights, but don't take my word for it – by the end of this evening, some 325,000 fans will have visited the National Bowl to see the show in the past few days.

Wembley's loss was definitely our gain, and Robbie had this concert lark well and truly 'licked.'

Ant and Dec Rumble gig

By BECI WOOD

September 19, 2006

AFTER their dodgy run in the charts in 1994, you’d think Ant and Dec would want to keep well away from the pop scene.

However the pair, who hit No9 with cheesy tune Let’s Get Ready To Rumble, made a surprise performance at Robbie Williams’ final  Milton Keynes gig last night.

The Geordie double act joined Robbie on stage to sing his smash hit Strong in front of 65,000 screaming fans.

Robbie said: “I’d like to welcome two of my good mates on stage. Not only are they great blokes, but great singers too.â€

On onlooker said: “Robbie was fantastic – but it was a bonus to see Ant and Dec too.

“They’re such a fun pair. I preferred Strong to Let’s Get Ready To Rumble!â€

It appears Robbie has a habit of inviting his friends on tour with him.

Somebody better get in touch with the 75,000 standing at MK tonight to tell them the gigs finished last night. Honestly. Do the press never check anything?

I would have loved to see Ant & Dec friday evening .

Didn't know them untill last Xmas when Robbie was in their show .........hilarious

Robbie did great in MK........it was amazing :yahoo: :yahoo:

Nice for Rob too, to be surrounded by friends ^_^

The Ant and Dec show is on the tv this Saturday night, I bet they show a clip of the concert with them in it or refer to it in some way.

They've got their nights wrong but never mind.

ROBBIE WILLIAMS fans got a bit extra for their cash at his live Milton Keynes show last night when he was joined on stage by ANT & DEC singing Strong.

The TV duo even treated the crowd to a short burst of their old single Let’s Get Ready To Rumble . . . remember that, erm, classic?

I got my hands on these exclusive snaps of the lads at the show, where they were joined by Rob’s best pal JONATHAN WILKES.

http://i9.tinypic.com/47nmufr.jpg

Rob's mob ... pals take to stage

The gig was attended by a host of stars including Man Utd’s WAYNE ROONEY, MICHAEL CARRICK and Blackburn character ROBBIE SAVAGE, there with wife Sarah.

Robbie dedicated a song to him, saying: “Here’s one for Mr and Mrs Robbie Savage. You do know he’s gay?â€

I spoke to Sav, who took to joke it in great spirits. He laughed: “Rob’s a legend – real class. I’ll get my own back though.

“After the gig he invited me over to LA with the kids and gave the missus a kiss. She’ll not wash her face for months.â€

Sav once left a surprise for a ref in his dressing room toilet . . . so watch out Robbie.

Robbie Williams concerts hailed a success

THE record-breaking five concerts at the Nationl Bowl - which saw more than 320,000 people descend on the city - have passed without serious incident.

Organisers and the local authorities have praised fans who went to the Robbie Williams concerts as well as local residents.

A police spokesman said: "We would like to thank concert goers for being patient leaving the venue - although the wait was minimal compared to other, similar events in other areas of the country.

"We would also like to thank the residents of Milton Keynes and those visiting the city for other reasons who avoided the area, allowing agentcies to concentrate on getting traffic away from the venue as quickly as possible."

The only reported crimes were two robberies and three people were arrested in connection with break ins into two cars. Six people were given cautions for possession cannabis and cocaine and five people were issued with fixed penalty notices for minor disorder offences.

The spokesman added: "Considering the city had an influx of people, greater in number than the population of Milton Keynes by about 100,000, there were very few incidents."
