I feel sorry for Laura, she had so much potential to be a top female player, and while that could still happen with this long out with injury it's going to be a struggle for her. I don't think that Heather Watson has it in her to go to the next level up like Laura potential has/had.

Good win for Andy Murray on Sunday with victory in the Madrid Open over Rafael Nadal in straight sets. 6-2 6-3. Andy's 2nd title on clay in as many weeks. The end of Rafa's reign on clay? A 10th French Open title looking doubtful for him.

This is so lovely and funny, I had to post it

Who do you think will win the French Open?

I'm going for Djokovic and Serena.

Can you really ever bet against Nadal at the French? In the last 2 years he's had injury problems prior and still managed to sweep all before him. I'm hoping Novak puts up an even closer fight this year if indeed they do meet at some point.

Hard to call on the Women's, would love for Halep to win given she came so close last year but I would say probably Sharapova again.

With the form Rafa's in. I don't think he'll win it. Although I hope I'm proved wrong and goes on to win a 10th French Open title.

Eugh anyone but not Sharapova, but until Serena is in the tournament, Sharapova has zero chance imo.

Halep is a great all-around player, she would deserve it, but I would also love to see Kvitova to win the French.

As for the men, I can't see anyone beating Djokovic. Nadal's form is really poor (I saw him playing in Madrid against Murray), I think he has atm mental problems, his self-confidence is gone completely.

I think Sharapova or Serena will win it. Although I would love to see Ana Ivanovic win it 7 years after she won her only Grand Slam here.

Andy Murray, Kyle Edmond and Heather Watson all through to the second round yesterday.

Rafa comfortably through to the second round also.

Third seed Simona Halep out of the French Open in the second round by losing in straight sets.

Andy Murray had a scare in his second round match against Joao Sousa but going through to the third round in 4 sets. Heather Watson however is out by losing in straight sets to Sloane Stephens.

Nadal, Djokovic and Serena all through to the third round. Serena taken to three sets though.

However Wozniacki is out.

Andy Murray will be taking on Nick Kyrgios in round three tomorrow. I can definitely see Kyrgios taking Murray to five sets and possibly beating him.

Roger Federer & Maria Sharapova and Ana Ivanovic all through to the last 16.

Murray will probably reach the Semis & lose to Djokovic/Nadal (can't remember whose side of draw he's on).
Djoko and Nadal are both in Murray's side of the draw. I think those two meet in the QFs. I see Novak getting the better of that one...

I can see if Rafa and Novak meet in the quarter-finals. Novak winning in 4 sets.
