Karen's secret mission was too much, moment of the season. The sympathy they had for her when it looked like she wasn't going to take the money followed by the sudden turn! Dillon's expressions! Ika crying in the shower!!!!!!!

I am nervous about how the veto went down and conflicted about what I want to happen. Demetres CAN win so I kinda want him to win it, give them a chance of both surviving, Demetres could also comp beast his way to the end. But that risks losing Ika, I'm not sure if Kevin would save her over Dillon, and if Demetres stays on the block, I assume he will be evicted over Ika..

omg that BBUK inspiration! :o

Looool at Kevin's game-ending move. Karen's agreed to vote out Dillon apparently so hopefully anyone but Kevin wins next week's veto and then we will have an AMAZING Final 3!

Best week of Big Brother ever!!!! Or at least in a week where the comps didn't go my way at all. The look on all their faces during the veto ceremony, Ika rolling her eyes as she was handed it. Wtf at Kevin, if he wanted to save Ika than surely he could've relied on Dillon more to take the vote to a tie?

(Question for Aaron as I've not seen anything pre-BB US season 9, have we ever had a showmance in the F2 before? I can't imagine either of Ika or Demetres pulling a Jon. And in the event that Ika doesn't win HOH or veto this week and eventually ends up in F2 without winning final HOH either..has anyone won before without winning an individual comp?)

Technically Will Kirby, they diddn't have veto in season 2 but he never won HOH (although I suppose that isn't the same thing, with only HOH there's only half the chance to win comps and if it was like that the whole way we'd maybe have more instances). Also iirc weren't Mike and Erika a showmance in the all stars season and made final?
FFS Oliver, you should use spoiler tags before letting us know that Demetres has left in 4th place <_<

Yes. Kind of.

Big Brother 7 (All-Stars) had Mike/Erika as the final two.

I wouldn't say it was at the same level as Brendon/Rachel, Ika/Dem or Emmett/Jillian as an example.

Mike and Erika knew each-other before the season started. They were friends, developed a "Showmance" in the house out of convenience but it really went sour towards the end. They ended up as the final two, but, Mike pretty much called it a "Ho-Mance" when his true "ride or die" went home in the Final 4.

I would consider the Dick/Daniele F2 as more of a 'Targeted Relationship' that wasn't taken out prior to F2. Not a showmance, but, the cast should have really separated them before they got to the end.

Will won Season 2 without winning a competition (there was no POV this season).

Jordan won Season 11 by winning just one competition (the final HOH). Although, she did win an HOH mid season that was thrown to her by Jeff. You can count that if you'd like.

I don't think I've ever been so sad and heartbroken at a BB eviction. :snif: Even with faves like Da'Vonne and Nikki, victory never felt realistic for them. I felt like whether Kevin won this veto or not would be the difference between Ika leaving in 4th or Ika winning the entire game and unfortunately it fell the wrong way.

Kevin is really pissing me off, thank God there's only one episode left. His constant talks to camera when not even in the DR is so irritating about how he has his back against the wall and is in this terrible position where only his master gameplay can get him out. Can someone tell me if he got evicted in the Triple Eviction last time because I don't think its been made clear or not?! In the Diary Room after he won the veto too, 'This is so rewarding because I've earnt my place in the Finale without anyone else's help after I've been battling completely by myself for the past half month' HALF MONTH?!?! Sooo, two weeks then yeah.

Demetres to win orrr a bitter jury that makes Karen win please.

I would live for Karen winning LMAOOO. Demetres really deserves it and is lovely though, Kevin has lost me tbh by being a bit of a idiot. You'd think he was the only one ever to support himself by winning a competition or two for a couple of weeks :drama:

His pitch for winning is literally because he won a few competitions in the last couple of weeks.

Ika & Dem have had to survive the WHOLE series through BOTH social and competitions. The fact that they survived two weeks both being on the block is incredibly impressive. Kevin has had zero social game all series. The only person he was able to influence and had as an ally is William, his other allies were people he already knew prior to the series. He 👏🏻 could 👏🏻 not 👏🏻 get 👏🏻 out 👏🏻 his 👏🏻 TWO 👏🏻 targets 👏🏻 for 👏🏻 two 👏🏻 weeks. He does not deserve to win at all.

Howling at Karen saying that she was the mastermind between Ika & Dem being a couple the whole time.

They were the perfect couple really, Ika was a social mastermind and Demetres was a comp beast, I really thought they'd be final 2 and they really deserved it. I feel like with the final 4, it should be that the veto is safe but the HOH still evicts but I think it's just being gutted at Ika being ousted coming through :kink: DemIka would have been the best final 2 I think I've seen in any country's BB as on balance they've been my two faves of the season easily.

I'm surprised at the lack of twists and influence Canada has had this season compared to in the past. After the initial one that kept Neda safe until jury but ended up damaging her game, has it only been the secret veto that William found and used to save Kevin?

I won't pretend that my faves haven't been aided by twists in the past, but Ika and Demetres got this far without them? Convinced though that the final HOH comp will be between Demetres and Kevin with Kevin taking it and winning the whole game against Karen :(

Wow. No comments yet on the Finale?

KEVIN. ROBERT. MARTIN.

He's a good winner, I guess. I think anyone watching would have preferred an Ika win or a Demetres win. But, it wasn't meant to be.

It was pretty obvious that Kevin was going to win the Final HOH. He knew he needed to study and never really had any distractions. I wish they'd find a way to re-vamp the Final HOH's to become less predictable.

My favorite moment of last night however was all the shade thrown on Neda across various segments, but they refused to acknowledge her at all. I really just hope that doesn't harbour ill-will. I'd love to see her play again, wayyyyy down the road.

TBH, I missed the silly twists. I guess the twists this season did have an impact. Neda's immunity expiring and them taking a shot at her immediately. Who knows how far she would have made it without having that immunity, or if she would have been a target given her immunity just expired.

Backwards Week perhaps would have ended differently. I don't honestly think Demetres would have had Gary up on the block if it was a traditional week. He probably would have wasted it on someone like Jackie.

William perhaps had the biggest impact with his Secret Veto. Kevin would have gone home that week for sure.

I really missed the buy-back. I'm shocked they didn't have one this year. Not only was this season deserving of a Pre-Jury buy-back, but a Post-Jury buy-back would have been great as well.

Yet another terrible winner of a Big Brother!

He said his biggest move was usung the veto on Ika. So his biggest move was taking out Dillon and failing to take out either of his two targets for two weeks in a row?? He basically played a similar game to the Paq brothers last series in being invisible for half the series and then just winning every comp at the end to get the win. No strategy for either of them but they won based on comp wins.

I can't at all his spin on everything to look like he was a genius when he really really wasn't.

I mean, yes he deserved it more than Karen but its SO gutting when two incredible players reached Final 4 but were knocked out by Final 2 because of comp wins. Its the exact same ending as BBCan4 (Tim & Cass). :(
