Firstly we'd like to comment on the high quality of the final, and apologise to the countries who just missed out, 10 songs is too little to vote for these days. Receiving one point is their entry Galantis 'Runaway (U&I)'. With 2 points is a country who sent this song to the DISCC for their thoughts in November. In the end they decided to send it but not until now. San Holo 'Hiding' (feat. The Nicholas) gives Persephonia yet another few points from us. As a relatively new country we've given them a bit of aid and clearly it's worked as we're now into their entries. For the first time EVER our 3 points go to Patvia with Koven 'Miracle' (Club Mix). Ethanola go back to sending great entries after the quality blip of Round Two last contest, but it isn't quite enough to get them back to the big points. Nonetheless we love their entry MYNGA 'Back Home' (Matoma Remix) although it isn't our fave tropical house entry of the contest. The crowd is surely about to go crazy now as I can now reveal 5 points have been given to the host country with their lush deep house entry, Frequency & SoulCircuit 'Lost' (feat. Diia). It's good to see this country back and even better to see a familiar face in the contest, yes of course Flume represented us back in the day with 'Insane' but current DISCC regulations disallow recycling of Danaelandan entrants, so it's Usfland who gets our 6 points with Flume & Chet Faker 'Drop The Game'. A new country to BJSC, but Vicetone are of course no unknown act in Danaelanda, especially with their recent Nicky Romero collab. This entry does not have Romero but it's definitely still an amazing progressive house track. We're hopeful for more greatness to come from Llewandia and maybe you could even join the dance bloc. 7 points to Vicetone 'No Way Out' (feat. Kat Nastel), which has very much grown on us since the semi-final where it somehow just missed out on points! With Llewandia just missing out on the Top 3 it is familiar faces time now, with three former +12s fighting it out. FSR Rontvia are still the most successful nation ever in terms of Danaelandan points and they extend their lead with Ulf Nilsson 'Little By Little' (Lulleaux & George Whyman Remix) getting 8 points, which is a great tropical-deep house track and fab discovery! Ramrynia get 10 points from us then, with the brilliant possible future UK hit Listenbee 'Save Me'. We think this may be a dark horse contender and hope it gives them their long awaited debut win. That's if Yehesi aren't challenging, of course, the country's undeniable #ikonec #impakt sends them straight to #01 here. It's how a trap song really should be done, amazingly catchy.
