I think it might be 'Set The Fire To The Third Bar', the band are gonna be performing it on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross :D. I hope it is, I really like that song.

xXx

The next single, CONFIRMED for a November 13th release date is:

SET THE FIRE TO THE THIRD BAR :cheer:

Great third choice. ^_^ I'm pretty sure this will do pretty well in the charts and will also boost album sales loads like Chasing Cars did. ^_^

good choice as a single i will say and it should do well, well i live in hope that eyes open will be teh fourth single,

i think eyes open is a great album and should outsell final straw over time,i love final straw but i feel eyes open is that bit better of an album

ALL the songs from this album could be released as singles! Well, except ' - ', which is a bit pointless.

But i'm absolutely chuffed that 'Set The Fire To The Third Bar' is being released. 'It's Beginning To Get To Me' and 'Make This Go On Forever' would also have made good singles, imo

i agree eyes open is a strong album and any song is worthy of a single release, its great to see the album sell so well i hope it gets its 1 millionth sale very soon

It got well over 100,000 in its first week, and it's re-entered at no.1 in the album charts loads of times! It must be close to a million now, surely?!

has everyone that thinks this is a good album gotten their first two albums? I certainly hope so, as they are much better than the last two albums, with 'When It's All Over...' being a SUBERB album...

I haven't, but i do want them. Has their style changed much throughout the four albums?

yes - for the worse :)

in the same way as cold play in a way... parachutes was a good album... but the over production and blandness on later albums make them in effect pop drivel.

don't think i've mentioned them on this thread (and too lazy to check) but make SURE you ALL have Reindeer Section - Son of Evil Reindeer if you like Snow Patrol at all! One of the best albums since 2000... it's a side project of Gary Lightbodys...

:o Oh......My......God!!!!!!!!!!! :o

At last the one song I really wanted them to release and thought they wouldn't this song is beautiful, the only reason i bouhgt the album in the first place

Definetly my song of the year!!!!  Hope the videos cool

It's just the band performing in front of a screen which is showing a slideshow of loads of american highways. Then at the end there's a smashed-up car in the studio. A bit random, but yeh...

Love the album too, better than Final Straw.

Set Fire To The Third Bar is the next single...i like this one not my fav but still im sure itll do reasonably well in the charts

I actually think 'Set The Fire To The Third Bar' was one of the first songs I heard from 'Eyes Open'... Jo Whiley played it a--g--e--s ago - like around the same time as (if not slightly before) 'You're All I Have' was released

They also performed it on Jools Holland live shortly after 'You're All I Have's release, along with Chasing Cars

oh good cause we get jools here so hopefully ill get to see them on that

With the amount of attention they're recieving at the minute, it's hard to imagine them NOT performing again on JH, or any other mainstream music shows in the coming weeks

Plus they'll need to start trying to get publicity for their next single soon

thats true they wont be going away anytime soon

They'll probablies still be lurking around in the background next year, when their album's gone double platinum (I hope)
