Excitement :cheer: (the date almost made me think it wasn't on until 4th December at first lol), looks like quite a big season for Daenaerys if that is anything to go by. This is actually the first season I'm watching live and not trying to avoid (yet sometimes failing :() spoilers/people that have seen the series already talking about it, so I don't have an idea what to expect!

Got me very excited as usual. This has got to be a huge season for the show, if they're teasing a Tyrion/Daenerys meeting with that I am very on board.

 

Also it's just making me nervous wondering who could die - just who could Olenna be talking about/to in her bit for example?

I'll wait until they're on TV but if people DARE to spoil it after this is the first full series I can watch as it airs, I will not be happy.

I watched the first episode as it airs tonight anyway, but I'm not sure about the rest as I don't want to wait another month for the rest. We'll see whether I'll last!

Agree I'm in this boat as well. I'd love to watch them - but then facing until Mid-May to watch the 5th episode? No thanks. I've waited 10 months for Season 5, I think I can contain myself to watch an episode a week (unless there's a massive cliffhanger at some point haha).

I am going to remain pure. I care too much about the show at this point to waste half the season on one night. I can wait, I think. Plus well, if I do stick the course at least some of these first 4 will be after my dissertation is done.

I think they were given out to the press, as a lot of the reviews I've read are all about the first 4 episodes. This is usually the case with any TV show. Though I doubt it will affect anything too much. The spoilers for the books are always out there, I guess it's just if there are many major deviations from the books that it will annoy people. Obviously they won't be pleased, but you run the risk when you give things out to the press that somebody will leak it.

I'd love to say I was strong enough to wait for them to be shown weekly, but it's my favourite show and I just don't know if I'm going to be able to wait, knowing there's episodes out there that I haven't seen.

I've watched all four episodes! Loving the show again this series. Can't wait for episode 5 now!

I I haven't managed to watch any yet because I've been too busy - Going to watch at least two tonight though, I did see that

my favourite male blonde whore is back, as naked and amazing as ever, though :wub:

 

Well that was kinda okay but it didn't hold my interest as well as previous episodes have done, I hope it was just the slow reintroduction to the characters and their storylines...

The final scene of Episode 4 really left me wanting more, damn it.

Yeah, seemed a bit more of an establishing episode than one were loads happened (though this is the first time I've seen it air live on the day of premiere *.* I'm being patient and avoiding the leaked episodes for the next few weeks). I suppose Season 4 was so full of twists and shocks that this might be slightly slower by comparison, but I'll wait and see ofc.

 

Was great to see them all again though (would've liked to see where Arya and Bran were though ;(), Daenaerys' storyline looks really intriguing.
