I'm failing to see the fuss about Love Me Like You Do.

You aren't alone but then I'm not a fan of her affected voice.

I think 22k on streams is a bit optimistic. Isn't the weekly streams record set by 'Uptown Funk' something like 25k and that took a couple of weeks to build up to, so I don't think Ellie will get anywhere near that this week. I think 10-15k streams is more realistic.

Maybe I was a bit hasty with that prediction, -_- Thursday's sales would probably be a better prognosis to see how much its doing per day, that's if we get any sales updates this week, I can't really see the track doing anymore than 30k per day, maybe a tad less against today's opening figures.

'Uptown Funk' managed 23.4k streaming sales by just its second week (13.5k in the first week). Ellie seems to be rising just as quickly if not quicker on Spotify so 15-20k ish could be possible for her I think.

FFS is on the come up

FFS :drama:

I remember I used to not like her voice until Wonderman by Tinie Tempah. Then I got into ACH, Figure 8, Goodness Gracious (  ) Burn and now LMLYD :cheer:

Outside, Flashlight, I Need Your Love are also AMAZING. :music:

Same here, pretty ordinary ballad to me.

I do like 'Love Me Like You Do' but I can see why people are a bit underwhelmed with it - if someone with less of a profile than Ellie (say Tulisa, for example) had released it, it wouldn't be doing anywhere near as well.
Anxiously waiting for 3:30pm, hoping Say Something is in the top 10, hoping that Thinking Out Loud is out of the top 10, and that Rhymes has dropped like a rock.

You could, however, apply that to a lot of artists. Thinking Out Loud wouldn't have done as well if it were released by Lewis Watson for example, so it's not exclusive to Ellie! I personally love Love Me Like You Do though and am not shocked that it's doing so well

We have mids for today but it seems very little sales data has actually been included for yesterday (iTunes data missing I expect) - apparently 'FourFiveSeconds' only sold 185 copies? Basically don't trust the mids today unless R1 have a different version...
I'd like to see how many copies separate "Love Me Like You Do" and "Uptown Funk" and I'd also like to see who's on course for #1 album. Also, how have Dire Straits randomly re-entered the albums at #4?

Oh Dear... Kodaline #34 and apparently talking to Clara on sunday - Could be VERY awkward if they dont make it (which seems a distinct possibility)

Yes, very awkward indeed.

If they're only at #34 today I think it's almost inevitable that they'll miss the Top 40 :(

Sia is 11 for the 3rd week in a row. Fergie is down to 9 - I thought she'd be like 6/7, but not that close to being out of the top 10, especially since she's up to #30 on Spotify now.
