Living For Love seems to have been instant grat released, with that at #156 currently (I suppose that was the #227) and the single pre-order at #812.

What a mess.

Rihanna is NOT going to perform tomorrow so I don't know what you all want... she doesn't have a chance of getting number 1, she could have done it 1 week ago or so.

ANOTHER instance of John Legend in the chart? :drama:

Errr, is Madonna number 2 already???

'UpUpUpUp...'

She is on my iTunes. A bit of an odd jump could be a bug.

Pre Order, Noel is number 1 already.

I'm guessing the Rebel Heart pre-orders have been added to it. The remix EPs are at 16 & 19 in the album chart.

Noel Gallagher's instant grat is #1.

Plus it's Wednesday so prob one of the lowest sales times of the week. Noels album should be a decent seller next week - biggest first week of 2015? I'd say 70k or so which would be great!!
James Bay moving up again - he's in the live lounge this afternoon, could be top 10 this week?

I'd like to think he can shift a few more than that. Anyone know the first week sales of his first album?

I always have a lower figure due to album sales at the moment.

I was thinking he could hit top 10 especially 2 versions in the top 40

Quite possibly, he's #9 combined now and top 10 on Spotify! :D

Combined and weighted top 20, with instant grats removed:

1 1.0000 Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do

2 0.6885 Rihanna and Kanye West and Paul McCartney - FourFiveSeconds

3 0.6194 David Guetta - What I Did for Love (feat. Emeli Sandé)

4 0.5941 Kelly Clarkson - Heartbeat Song

5 0.5887 The Weeknd - Earned It

6 0.4783 Hozier - Take Me To Church

7 0.3875 Mark Ronson - Uptown Funk (feat. Bruno Mars)

8 0.3753 DJ Fresh - Gravity (feat. Ella Eyre)

9 0.3685 James Bay - Hold Back the River

10 0.3467 Maroon 5 - Sugar

11 0.3372 Chris Brown X Tyga - Ayo

12 0.2724 Avicii - The Nights

13 0.2580 Axwell Λ Ingrosso - Something New

14 0.2366 Taylor Swift - Style

15 0.2337 Karen Harding - Say Something

16 0.2081 Charli XCX - Doing It (feat. Rita Ora)

17 0.1961 Sia - Elastic Heart

18 0.1859 Disciples - They Don't Know

19 0.1581 Olly Murs - Up (feat. Demi Lovato)

20 0.1568 Common & John Legend - Glory

James Bay should gain some great sales from the BRITs exposure tonight. I'm really glad that Hold Back the River looks set to become a decent-sized hit; it bodes very well for his next single too.

Its been awhile since I last looked at the LPB's, didn't realise Noel Gallagher was at #1 and Madonna at #2, her single release strategy is a bit of a mess really. Anyhow can't wait for her performance tonight, ah.... Kanye West is performing I hear *.*
So now Madonna's at #02 these sales won't count?

@MintRoyale BIG change to the way the iTunes album chart works today - preorders no longer count towards position on release.

@MintRoyale So day one chart position is based on sales on that day, not taking into account preorders.

@MintRoyale Also, free tracks that become available on preordering will not be included in the top songs chart.

@MintRoyale Obviously this is just the iTunes charts, preorders will count towards the official charts in week one.

Thank goodness we won't see the instant grata on the singles chart now, hopefully we will see if the IG themselves is selling well alone I take?
