I think it deserves to, anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if she managed that, given the Mother's Day effect. She'll still be very heavy on pre-orders (maybe around 30K?) but she might make 60/70k by the weekend.

And I think it is all presales as she is selling less than Noel G according to iTunes. Can he close the gap - thrilling! I fully agree, the core fan base is there and are loyal, but can it sell outside the bracket is the question. I never had a doubt Madonna will reach number 1 in the album chart but i do not see it shifting huge numbers and it will be knocked off number 1 next week. I would like to see it outsell MDNA, if it manages that it is an achievement but i doubt the album will make platinum status.

March 10, 201510 yr We already knew that Noel was outselling Madonna digitally, so I don't think MintRoyale is accurate when saying he could close the gap because he's outselling her on iTunes. Madonna's physical sales will be more impressive than the average physical/digital ratio. I'm hoping she'll hold up well today with the record climbing on iTunes and Amazon.
