Ok :)

I really love Cheryl for her current stand on body shaming issues. That's a thing I've said for months now, it's not acceptable how it is ok to shame people with skinny bodies. As long as you're healthy, being skinny shouldn't be a problem.

I think a lot of what was written about Cheryl in the last month or so was through concern than anything else. Not much of what I read was critical, most was I hope there isn't something wrong with her.

She got a lot of critics in the press for being to skinny. Journalism at its finest I guess...

According to an article in The Sunday Mirror, Cheryl has said she will be returning to the studio to work on album #5 in the new year after a break from X Factor and "Christmas dinner"! Hopefully new music will be arriving sooner rather than later *.*
She did that pretty quick given everything shes had going on from X-Factor to the personal issues!
I can't see Polydor dropping her given shes been with them so long. They'd be silly to drop her without at least cashing in on a Greatest Hits as a bare minimum.
It's not like the last era was a total disaster anyway. Sure, the album could've sold better and the title track flopped but she still got two #1 singles from it!
I am ready for new Cheryl but please turn on some quality control this time and PLEASE give the era the proper treatment (at LEAST four singles.) Every era seems to fizzle out after 2/3 singles for some reason and the albums include a handful of good/great songs and the rest is garbage.

I'm still astounded shes done one solo tour given shes had quite a few big sellers and decent enough chances to go out on the road more.

Yes I really want a full 3-4 singles era next time. But I do worry that a lot of Cheryl's solo career was helped by her huge public profile generated through the X Factor. But now the X Factor seems to have lost its power and guest performers are not getting the sales boost they used to get. I think Cheryl will have to spend much more time promoting, performing and touring with the next album. And the songs will need to be genuinely catchy.

Also there was a huge connection between the public and Cheryl's personal life during the Three Words era. This connection seems to be missing lately.

I bought Cheryl's last two album. I loved A Million Lights, while I found Only Human was more hit and miss.

I cant see any album from Cheryl doing that great as her last album performed badly (sales wise)she will likely manage 2 decent selling singles but i agree i think alot of her success came from X Factor not including her first album.

She just pretty much confirmed on Instagram that she's back in the studio! :cheer:

YES for a new album, I wasn't seeing it coming anytime soon so I'm happy that she's hinting at a 2016 release! :)
