Posted September 16, 200618 yr Jamelia furious with rival Keisha White Saturday, September 16 2006, 15:18 BST - by Daniel Kilkelly Jamelia has complained about comments that R&B rival Keisha White made about her. The Superstar singer is furious after Keisha described her as "not a serious artist whose records you're going to pick up in five years time." Both artists have been nominated for Best UK Female at next week's MOBO awards. Speaking to Rock FM, Jamelia explained: "Now I don't want Keisha White to win. Can I point out that my first album was released in 2000 and people are still buying it - so I don't want her to win. I didn't even know she had an album." source: Digital Spy oooh catfight!
September 16, 200618 yr Seems to me like she's trying to conjour up a The Kooks v Razorlight scenario. :( These comments will just her in the media so people can keep an intrest in her as lets be honest her latest single is a releative flop and Beware Of The Dog will most likely beat Something About You's chart position when it is released. ^_^
September 16, 200618 yr Jesus, Rock FM were playing this on their news broadcast every 30 minutes yesterday!
September 16, 200618 yr Jesus, Rock FM were playing this on their news broadcast every 30 minutes yesterday! Jameila's record company will have no doubt payed them to do that. :( She really should have gone with Beware Of The Dog as the first single as it really could have got to #1 especially if it was released physically this week.
September 16, 200618 yr Author i much prefer Keisha White although Jamelia comes across as a nice person in interviews so seeing her saying that is quite :o What Keisha White said was her opinion and Jamelia's response was spiteful  Edited September 16, 200618 yr by slimjim
September 16, 200618 yr I personally thinm Jamelia is really up herself, Keisha is much better all around
September 16, 200618 yr I personally thinm Jamelia is really up herself, Keisha is much better all around I know, you should have heard the pure disgust in Jamelia's voice, sounded wellz snobbish :(
September 16, 200618 yr She totally thinks she;s better than she is: Im sure someone who used to be on CC saw her in the cinema and she treated all the workers like $h!t, it's like she thinks she's Beyonce -_-
September 16, 200618 yr Jamelia is notorious for being a sour faced cow. She had a huge fit in the tabloids when Peter Andre beat her to #1, saying how he didn't deserve it and her track was much better, blah, blah, blah. She's right about Peter Andre of course, but at least be a grateful loser Jamelia. Prefer Keisha.
September 16, 200618 yr She totally thinks she;s better than she is: Im sure someone who used to be on CC saw her in the cinema and she treated all the workers like $h!t, it's like she thinks she's Beyonce -_- I *think* that was Sandie  Jokes, but I remember that, something about her not wanting to talk to the people

And to think she's came across so nice in the interviews I heard her in. :( Just basically shows she has two faces. -_-
September 16, 200618 yr I *think* that was Sandie   and we know the truth about *her* now :P Edited September 16, 200618 yr by Mattuh
September 16, 200618 yr Can we please stay on topic and not slag off members that aren't here to defend themselves please? -_-
September 17, 200618 yr It can only boost interest for Keisha and get her name out there, so it's publicity.
September 18, 200618 yr I bought Thankyou ... and regretted it Keisha's generally a much better artist I think ... Jamelia's turned into more of a brand with her advertising and stuff
September 18, 200618 yr This is pathetic! I love both singers. Jamelia should be happy that there's a new UK singer who has the potential to make a name for herself... considering Jamelia seems to have cut all ties she had with R&B!
September 18, 200618 yr Can I point out that my first album was released in 2000 and people are still buying it Whatever. 'Drama' has been in the bargain bins since 2001. I like Jamelia but she needs to tone down her arrogance a few notches.
