Reflekt ft Delline Bass - Need To Feel Loved

Peak: 14

Chart Run: 14-21-36-49-67 (5 weeks)

2nd Highest Hit: N/A

Commentary: This is very summery. More subtle and relaxing than loud and in your face. Much better than the last few tracks.

Commentary: I don't believe I've heard this version before. I actually really like it. Get very distinctive Destination Calabria vibes from the video. We might be hearing something very similar quite soon.

Commentary: I do not get the love for this. It has a great video but the song is kinda meh. It doesn't stand out to me at all.

Commentary: This is definitely the version I am familiar with. Utter classic from my childhood. The best use of the sample belongs to Sunset Stripers.

Commentary: For whatever reason I always thought this was by Razorlight when I was growing up. This seemed huge at the time, I'm shocked it only reached 9. Can't help but sing along to it when it's on.

Comments: I wasn't a massive fan of him when he was on the one series of The Voice that I watched but this song isn't that bad. Better than the song he released after the show.

G4 - Bohemian Rhapsody

Peak: 09

Chart Run: 9-24-38-45-53-72-91 (19 weeks)

2nd Highest Hit: N/A

Comments: I know it's almost a crime to admit it but I've never been much of a fan of Bohemian Rhapsody. Queen had many better for me. I didn't mind G4 when they were on the X Factor but I don't think they do a great job vocally here. As I said with Rik Waller before, you shouldn't cover a song this big for your debut.

Comments: This is a brilliant surprise. A very atmospheric rock song, the leader singer high sings in the same pitch throughout the whole song but it works.

Comments: According to Wikipedia this song has been used in everything but I can't recall hearing it before. I feel that the instrumental could be sampled into a really good dance track.

2nd Highest Hit: N/A

Comments: This is easily one of the best songs from 2005. Everything about this song is just a joy. The singer is slightly creepy but still effortlessly cool. Probably the definitive dance record of the 00's.

Comments: This is one I still listen to regularly today. This song takes me to my primary school days, playing FIFA on my PS2 as soon as I got home every day. EA Sports do not get enough credit for their FIFA soundtracks, they're always spot on perfect. Hint the only 2005 One Hit Wonder I prefer to this one is another FIFA Soundtrack (forgotten) classic.
