Nizlopi - JCB Song

Peak: 01

Chart Run: 1-2-2-2-2-6-7-10-12-14-18-25-33-55-57-85-89-84-89 (19 weeks)

2nd Highest Hit: Girls (#91)

Comment: Nizlopi is what I think of when I think of one-hit wonders. This was absolutely massive at the time. One of the most iconic hits of my childhood. 'I'm Luke, I'm 5 and my Dad's Bruce Lee. Drives me around in his JCB' will always be one of my favourite moments in any song.

Brian Kennedy & Peter Corry - George Best: A Tribute

Peak: 04

Chart Run: 21-11-4-5-11-12-22-30-38-62-85 (11 weeks)

2nd Highest Hit: Live, Love & Happiness (#27)

Comment: As a Manchester United fan, I've got a lot of respect for George Best, even if he played long before I was alive. This cover of You Raise Me Up is nice but not anything amazing.

Comment: A very cheesy video for a cheesy dance song. An extra .5 for the KRONO remix.

Comment: I very much remember this from the (Sony?) advert with the balls. Sounds decent to listen to today even if the advert bored me at the time.

Young Jeezy ft Akon - Soul Survivor

Peak: 16

Chart Run: 16-29-34-55-84 (5 weeks)

2nd Highest Hit: N/A

Comment: Jeezy's verses are okay but Akon's parts are boring. Dissapointing as Akon is usually a bit of a guilty pleasure.

Comment: What a brilliant song. I have no idea how this became a hit but I'm glad it did. Haven't heard it for years and sounds all the better for it.

Antony Costa - Do You Ever Think Of Me

Peak: 19

Chart Run: 19-44-85 (3 weeks)

2nd Highest Hit: N/A

Comment: This is nothing like the music he made with Blue's but it's a hell of a lot better than what I was expecting; especially with that chart run. Sounds quite like Ben Haenow.

Liz McClarnon - Woman In Love/I Get The Sweetest Feeling

Peak: 05

Chart Run: 5-11-30-43-68-88 (6 weeks)

Comment: I wasn't enjoying this at the start but by the end it won me over. I don't really like Atomic Kitten and this is exceptionally cheesy but I have to admit it is catchy.

Chico - It's Chico Time

Peak: 01

Chart Run: 1-1-2-8-18-26-13-26-47-60-80-92 (12 weeks)

2nd Highest Hit: D.I.S.C.O. (#24)

Comment: It's a bit rich praising this after criticising some of the previous, technically better songs but this is iconic. Every occasion when somebody asks me the time, I reply with 'Chico'. The original 'novelty' X Factor act and this being a multi-week number one just shows how big the show was at the time.

Mish Mash - Speechless

Peak: 16

Chart Run: 83-16-33-50-71-86-98 (7 weeks)

Comment: Not a fan of this one at all. Incredibly eccentric video but the song sounds quite generic. I also can't find anything about Mish Mash at all, who are they?

2nd Highest Hit: No Panties (#45)

Comment: This sounds very mid 00's but I actually quite like it. Trina seems to be one the better female rappers and her verses flows very well.
