It's a double Carr finish as Jimmy finishes just ahead of Alan! Jimmy Carr with the annoying and obviously fake laugh is best known for 8 Out of 10 Cats on Channel 4. One job I don't mind him doing is the Big Fat Quiz of the Year (also on Channel 4) which is always a great watch! Also as if by :magic: Jimmy is the second person who received a 12 to be knocked out of the running!

12. Konnie Huq

Infamous Xtra Factor and Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq underperforms and only reaches #12. She's now in danger of being dropped from her record label. I think streaming blocked her from the top 10 just like Taylor.

11. Claudia Winkleman

Claudia Winkleman finds herself in the dreaded 11th position, just missing out on a top 10 position. Winkleman is known not only for winning the Eurovision Song Contest with "Euphoria" :kink: but also her amazing TV career. Most recently, she began presenting the BBC's flagship programme Strictly Come Dancing alongside Tess Daly. It's very refreshing to see a female duo on Saturday nights - shame about Tess though. Claudia can also be seen fronting the BBC's weekly Film programme and the Great British Sewing Bee on BBC Two. Claudia is so underrated, her wacky sense of humour is perfect and it's a shame she missed the top 10.

Well, Thank Christ for Konnie missing the top 10. Attenborough still to come though, you guys impress me  :o

Re Konnie: Underperforming? She well and truly OVER performed especially considering that her husband is not here (not that I would count him as a presenter really).

Konnie has always been a fave, ever since her Blue Peter days . She's charismatic, charming, fun, hilarious (intentionally and otherwise), self-deprecating - I used to tune into Xtra Factor almost solely to watch her troll the entire show. I'd definitely say she's underrated at only #12!

10. Dermot O'Leary

Everyone's favourite bulgetastic former X Factor presenter, Dermot O'Leary, is next up in the countdown at #10. It might be harder to remember that far back, but O'Leary was the longest serving presenter of Big Brother's Little Brother. Since then, he conquered the TV world after joining The X Factor in 2007, regularly appearing on many awards shows as the host and even a guest stint on This Morning. Dermot has occasionally been seen on BBC's Comic Relief to front a portion of the telethon.

Finishing one place head of Dermot is his old mate Holly Willoughby, who has become another staple of ITV's main programming. Originally starting out on CBBC and CITV, Willoughby was leaped into primetime through Dancing On Ice in 2006. Before long, she found herself fronting This Morning, a team captain on Celebrity Juice, host of Text Santa, Surprise Surprise and most recently Play To The Whistle. Holly has even managed to find time to present the first two series of The Voice UK on BBC One and have an endless number of kids.

The top 8 remaining results will be counted down tonight from 8pm. Be here. Or else.
Kanak deserved to win if only for her life-affirming presenting skills on the Xtra Factor.

Big Mother (no shade to Emma Willis), Davina McCall finishes next with the same score as Holly Willoughby, but higher because she received two 12s. Davina has been a staple of UK TV for over 15 years, starting out presenting the likes of MTV and Don't Try This At Home. Her big break came in 2000 when she became the face of Big Brother UK, as well as a staple of the Comic Relief appeal nights. Davina has even taken her hand to presenting the BRIT Awards TWICE! More recently, she can be seen fronting The Million Pound Drop, The Jump and Long Lost Family.

It's easy to forget Stephen Fry is a TV presenter, but he is! Stephen has fronted BBC Two's hit show QI since it started in 2003. He is popular for his witty sense of humour and the madness he brings to proceedings. I don't like him much as a presenter, but I think he's brilliant elsewhere.

Everyone's favourite Geordies (sorry Cheryl) are up next on the countdown. Ant & Dec are basically the kings of entertainment presenting. They win all the awards and have all the biggest gigs. Of course, they started life back on Byker Grove, but their first TV major gig was SMTV: Live alongside the lovely Cat Deeley. This show launched them into the hearts of the nations and they never looked back. They've gone on to host Pop Idol, the BRIT Awards twice, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, I'm a Celebrity, Britain's Got Talent, Red or Black and Text Santa. All of course on ITV. Ant & Dec are pretty much ITV through and through.

Davina McCall became VERY unlikable as Big Brother went on where she moved into a more 'bitch' role. I don't like her very much.

Ant & Dec were great when they started out, but slowly and disappointingly became more finetuned for the Saturday night viewers of ITV1.

05. Emma Willis

Big Mother II (the fake version) AKA Emma Willis manages to clinch a place in the top 5 of the countdown. I can reveal that the top 5 are all extremely close with just a few points separating Emma from #1. Her rise to fame has been quite remarkable really. She started out life as MTV's main presenter before landing both I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now and Big Brother's Little Brother roles. Her first presenting role on a terrestrial channel came from Channel 5 with Live from Studio Five. Following its move from Channel 4 to 5, Willis continued to host the Big Brother spin-off before landing the main job herself in 2013. Just a year later, she then joined The Voice UK and most recently flop BBC One show Prized Apart.

04. Graham Norton

Mr Friday Night himself, Graham Norton finishes just ahead of Emma Willis in fourth position. I must admit, Graham Norton is by far the best chat show host on TV and his show has me in stitches every time. Of course, he's helped by having amazing line-ups almost every show. Some of his other career highlights include hosting Andrew Lloyd Webber's talent shows on BBC One including the search for Maria, Joseph, Nancy and Dorothy for Webber's west end productions. He iconekly hosted an end of year quiz-off at some point (I can't remember when) between Pauline from EastEnders and Nikki Grahame *.* And of course he replaced Terry Wogan to become Mr Eurovision in 2009.

Ant & Dec are just the worst. Not funny at all, even remotely. I'm not a huge fan of Emma Willis either, she was great for her first series of BB imo but she's really gone downhill recently :(
