The biggest surprise for me of this contest is the amount of support for the legend that is Sir David Attenborough. He is known mostly as Mr Wildlife, voicing some amazing documentaries in his time. In the past year, he has made Life Story, which was very well received on BBC One and Conquest of the Skies which aired on Sky and in 3D. At the age of 89, he shows no signs of slowing down and promises to continue being a staple of British TV for a little while longer. He is also the highest placing male presenter in the countdown.

Her Buzzjack fanbase managed to get her all the way to #2, but fell at the last hurdle by ONE point! Jameela Jamil is better known as a radio DJ, however, she has been a TV presenter too! She fronted E4 for a few years, including music show Koko Pop. Jameela also hosted the second series of Playing It Straight - replacing series one hosted June Sarpong (where is she?). I'm glad she didn't win, because she's a better radio host than TV presenter.

Everyone's favourite innuendo filled due, Mel & Sue, managed to snatch Jameela's weave to become Buzzjack's Ultimate TV presenter. They are effectively a more risque, posh and female version of Ant & Dec. Of course they are known best for being the dynamic duo who present The Great British Bake Off, which is hugely popular here on Buzzjack. Therefore, I'm not surprised to see them win and they are great winners too!

David Attenborough slaying *.* Did not expect him to finish that high even if it was really close between the last few. What a legend, legit one of my favourite people in the world still alive let alone best TV presenter.

Great winners too, probably would've been my picks going by current presenting faves. Can't help but wonder how many people voted for Jameela on the basis of her TV presenting skills

Davina is such a fun presenter but sometimes it can be a bit too much, she is the Queen of BB though. Emma's career trajectory has been very strange, going from years and years of present spin-off shows to now being a main show regular presenter.

Ant & Dec will always be amongst my favourites and they truly are one of the main reasons I still watch 'I'm a Celeb', no matter how ridiculous the jokes are.

I too am surprised that Sir David is so high, deserved even if I'm not a fan of nature programmes. Yey at Jameela not winning, she's good, but as with Konnie, not that good.

WD Mel & Sue :cheer:

Mel & Sue

Jameela at least 18 places too high, yawn

I've always been a fan of Davina and never quite understood the level of criticism she'd receive, particularly during her time hosting Big Brother. The fact that she's so excitable and scatty is part of her appeal for me and suited the nature of that show, though I seem to be fond of these 'qualities' in other TV hosts (see: Konnie and Jameela) and I guess it's fair that people would rather presenters have a bit more professionalism! I think Emma Willis is spot on in that respect as she's a more organised and competent presenter without compromising the fun, passionate elements Davina brought, as she's clearly also a big fan of the show.

Ant & Dec are the definition of likeable - always a pleasure to see them host anything. It's pretty amazing that they've retained their charm after being prominent for so long and haven't become in any way tedious (for me anyway).

Graham's by far my favourite TV host so it's great to see him finish high here. There are very few presenters who could handle the format of his show - dealing with guests from various fields who often have completely different backgrounds and personalities, and managing to make the conversation incredibly natural, funny and entertaining. He definitely gets the most out of celebrities of any other chat show host and it always seems that his guests genuinely love being on the couch.

Jameela seems like a lovely person but her sarcastic sense of humour can be hit-and-miss and can come across a bit rude when she's interviewing people (for example here) so I'm glad she didn't win (and also I barely even associate her with TV anymore).

I don't watch The Great British Bake Off () but I've seen Mel & Sue on a few things and they seem like a laugh so well done them. :cheer:

Interesting results all in all - cheers for doing this, April!

:jameela: Should of won, Mel and Sue are good but try to much to be like Ant and Dec IMO

Christ Harry they aren't THAT bad!!! :(
