so it looks like Britney is preparing album 9 already.. They had in plans to re-release Britney Jean, but they have canceled that and started to work on new record.

Why re-do what already is, when you can just do something brand new ;) ;) ;) Exciting conference calls happening ♥

That person is quite reliable source.

I'm glad. A bit surprised though, didn't she imply she was considering retiring? :o
I hope she keeps up the writing for this, but moves away from the EDM. Aside from 'Work Bitch' I just felt BJ had no real personality to it, and I wouldn't think she wrote a word if I didn't know the writing credits :drama: Really hope this is back to her usual (amazing) standard.
After Britney Jean I'm not sure I want a new album, the lack of quality in all aspects of the era was extremely off putting, and its pretty clear at this point we're not going to get any decent promo or effort from her again.

Britney Jean was so her best album to date!

I can see why they're eager to quickly move on though, it's a high profile flop but I don't think she'll really benefit from bringing something else out in a hurry.

PLEASE TAKE NOTES AND PROMOTE THIS TIME.

AND NO WILL.I.AM. He ruined what could have been her best album.

As long as Danja is on board with this album and we can get the Blackout 2.0 like we were promised, then I'll be happy.

The joyful thing about "Britney Jean" is it isn't a high profile flop because no-one knows it exists

It's a nice little album that suffers from a severe lack of direction. I find if you remove "Tik Tok Boom" and "Body Ache", you have a really nice little album.

*It Should Be Easy and Chillin' With You

If you remove everything except 'Work Bitch' and 'Passenger' you have a great single and a nice B-side.

BJ is flawless album, faar better than FF, Circus and BOMT

Blackout

In The Zone

Oops

Britney

Britney Jean

Circus

Baby

FF :puke2:

"Circus" is a great album... individually I love every song, but as an album it doesn't work.

I love "Blackout" but it is highly overrated.

"Femme Fatale" is her most consistent album.

"In The Zone" is my favourite album as it's all over the place with sound.

I liked Britney Jean, but it was just so far removed from the Britney "magic" we hear on her best releases. It was horribly generic in places, although Passenger, Alien, Work Bitch, Body Ache and Tik Tik Boom are brilliant tracks.

For me it was a little bit like Sugababes' Sweets 7. A good enough album, but it just didn't feel like it belonged the act releasing it. In fairness, in that case the Sugababes were literally so far removed from themselves as they had no original members left

I'm surprised she is doing another album. How did Britney Jean fare in other countries? Must be her lowest selling album in the UK?

FF was more like Sweet 7 for me, Soulless, lifeless, lacking any personality...but a great album nonethless, BJ is just..lazy.

I don't get it, she sounded much more passionate and engaged on this album? I mean, it came through. You could actually hear a personality and not a robot...
Disagree. Stuff like 'Till It's Gone' may as well have been sung by a robot for all the difference it'd make to the song.
