When you see such brilliant ones like the above, it really makes you wonder quite HOW the official team manage to be so inept.

I'm not blowing my own trumpet or anything but I could make something better than all of her official covers and I am far from professional.

It makes me wonder how on earth these people get the jobs. Imagine being a graphic designer and being tasked with designing Britney Spears' new album cover and they come out with that god awful font and a screenshot from her video.

I just can't..

Having seen your covers in the Album Cover Game, I'd honestly promote you!

I do agree with you though. It is baffling that a team of designers couldn't do any better than a video screenshot and a horrid font. They must have all this special equipment and trained skills yet they do something someone could create on their first try with Photoshop. It's especially surprising when you consider it's for a BRITNEY album - surely for an artist who is such a big deal, you'd want something that would match the level of hype there would be for said artist?

I echo the sentiment that the fanmade cover Joe posted is incredible. It gets me excited for new Britney music just looking at it and makes me want to have a physical copy in my hand and I can't say the official cover makes me feel that way (as I said previously in the thread, the cover is growing on me if I pretend the font isn't there, but it's more of a "I'll try and like it since it's here to stay" rather than me thinking I was too harsh on it originally.

The photo isn't even that bad. Like, I just made this in 20 minutes.. and the photo looks fine!

Your edit is 100000000000000x better, Kye! Beautiful! I love the pic they used, just hate how washed out it looks. :(

I used to make edits 24/7 and it makes the situation 10x more frustrating.

Wow Kye, that cover is a beauty! You and Tyler are quite right, the photo itself isn't bad at all, it's merely the horrid washout effect they use that spoils it. Then there's still the fact it's technically lazy of the team who created the cover, because it does remain a video still.
