June 30, 201510 yr Lisicki won't go further than the fourth round I wouldn't think. Too flaky. Kerber on the other hand could be good for QFs. Kerber <3
June 30, 201510 yr Given Halep's out (surprised at that btw) Lisicki looks like the best shot from that bracket for quarter-finals now, admittedly the others I don't know and presumably Bacsinsky will be tough coming off her French Open run in the third round but I'll call Sabine for quarters this time. Gonna properly start watching this tomorrow, it has been too long.
July 1, 201510 yr Kerber is on a roll this year, only had 2 titles and she now has 5, she collected the last three this years. They're all Premier titles ! She won against Lisicki on grass last week so, Sabine has to step it up. Not entirely surprised Halep is out, not smart to ditch your coach just before Wimbly. Venus will draw her younger sister the fourth round! I would like see Venus win this again, but she'll pull out before the fourth round or she'll lose to Serena.

She'll only pull out because of her disease though, she'll more than likely lose in straight sets to Serena if she even gets to the fourth round. Going to try and make an effort to get to all four grand slams over the next year or two.
July 1, 201510 yr Author Great win for Heather Watson by beating former Top5 player Hantuchova in straight sets. She'll most likely play Serena in the third round. Warwinka comfortably through in straight sets. Sixth seed Ana Ivanovic is out after losing in straight sets to World No158 Bethanie Mattek-Sands so her boyfriend Bastian Schweinstiger didn't help Ana today.

July 2, 201510 yr Andy Murray has comprehensively beaten Robin Haase 6-1, 6-1, 6-4 to progress to the third round. Joining Murray and yesterday's winner Heather Watson as the British hopefuls in round 3 is James Ward, who beat a player ranked 66 played above him. He battled past Jiří Veselý 6-2, 7-6 (7-4), 3-6, 6-3. Aljaz Bedene plays last on court 12 as he bids to make it four British players into round three.
July 2, 201510 yr I was very nervous during Lisicki's match, especially when McHale was a set and a break up, and also when it was 4-4 in that second set knowing a break now for McHale would effectively win it for her! Luckily Lisicki's quality showed in the final set :cheer:
July 2, 201510 yr Dustin Brown is not disappointing. This has to be one of the most entertaining matches in ages?
July 2, 201510 yr Dustin Brown is not disappointing. This has to be one of the most entertaining matches in ages? I remember him wiping the floor with Leyton Hewitt 2 years ago so he can definitely play with the best. Also Nadal hasn't got past the 2nd round in 3 years so I'd say Brown is the favourite here. Edit: Ok, so he actually made the Quarters last year (didn't watch it), I would love a unprecedented Nadal/Federer revival & grudge match :) Edited July 2, 201510 yr by Dobbo
July 2, 201510 yr Lisicki's match was great to watch but it took far too long for her to warm up, if she keeps doing stuff like that she'll really be in trouble. Interesting to see Nadal out again. I've never really been a fan of him but it's a bit sad to see him not even contending.
July 2, 201510 yr Injuries have f***ed Nadal up big time. At his peak I think he was better than Federer and Djokovic. The 2008 final between Nadal and Federer was amazing.
July 2, 201510 yr Injuries have f***ed Nadal up big time. At his peak I think he was better than Federer and Djokovic. The 2008 final between Nadal and Federer was amazing. TBF, he's done well to last as long as he has, with his game being so physical. I remember even back in 2007-08, the commentators were saying he wouldn't have much longevity because his game always put so much pressure on his knees. I think he might have another French Open in him because he can win on clay even when way below his best, but his days of winning on the quicker surfaces are surely gone for good. ** I wonder if Heather Watson will even get 5 games against Serena tomorrow. July 3, 201510 yr Author The fourth year in a row that Nadal has been knocked out by a player outside the world Top100 in the rankings. It's a shame to see the decline of Nadal.
