Easily the best Federer has played for a very long time. A beautiful masterclass there from Federer. Nothing much really that Murray could do in that match although he didn't push Federer just couldn't get any near of breaking Federer's serve. Really looking forward to Djokovic v Federeer Pt II in the Wimbledon final. Hope that it is even thrilling as last year was.

Come on Roger for a 8th Wimbledon title.

Murray was good today, but that was Federer near enough at his absolute best. I think Roger would have tired a little, and I do wish it had gone to 5 sets, but that was a masterclass today.

Do people think Serena will go on to beat Steffi Graf's all-time record of most Grand Slam titles?

I said last September she won the US Open.

A good match though. Muguruza did push Serena but wasn't enough against one of the best female tennis player of the 21st century.

The final between Djokovic v Federer today.

How do people think this will go?

I think it will be Djokovic winning in 5 sets although I would love to see Federer winning his 8th Wimbledon title.

I can't watch the match right now <_< but I agree with you about a likely Djokovic win. I'd also prefer to see Federer winning again though, especially with his career winding down. I've never been much of a fan of him off the court, as he always comes across as quite smarmy and insincere in post-match interviews etc. IMO, but I've nothing but admiration for his game and it'd be cool to see him add another Slam to his tally.

Dying for Roger to win this. He was phenomenal in the second set tie break. Third set is clearly Novak's though.
Delighted! His strength to not only win through tie breaks after losing the second set, but to really up his game and put Federer on the back foot in a huge testament to him as a player. He's probably my favourite player in tennis, so I'm always rooting for him to win in these scenarios, apart from with Murray as I always like to be patriotic, but in terms of how great it is to watch a player and his personality, Djokovic is just wonderful. Very happy.
Novak has a personally? There's a reason the crowds at the slams really don't care for him.

So a third Wimbledon title for Novak. I thought he would. It would have been nice to see Roger win his 8th Wimbledon title. That second set tie-break was quite thriillng to watch. Again Djokovic just held all the aces on that day. It puts Djokovic ahead of Jimmy Connors, Andre Agassi and Ivan Lendl in the all-time list of major winners.

Most Grand Slam Single Titles:

17- Roger Federer

14- Pete Samparas, Rafael Nadal

12- Roy Emerson

11- Rod Lever, Bjorn Borg

10- Bill Tilden

9- Novak Djokovic

Away from that. Former Wimbledon champion Martina Hingis has won the women's and mixed doubles after coming back from retirement. Good on her.

Surprised Agassi won fewer than nine.

Serena is absolutely unstoppable. I really think she'll win the US Open for the calendar slam. Like Navratilova she doesn't seem to be slowing down at all in her 30s, the opposite if anything. The only one who has the ability to beat her imo is Azarenka.
