Wildfire:

I still don't know if it's "DJ get me high" or "Need to get me high"

I still don't know if it's "Your heat is turning me on" or 'You're here to turn me on"

I'm guessing it's the former for both.

I hear "Need'
yuh
to get me high" and "You're here to turn me on".

There is no way there is a "IS" if that second one, so it's either "Your heat turn me on" or "You're here to turn me on".

Thats the lyrics I have always heard, the clue is in the title - Heat is warm, so is fire ;)

I hear "Need'
yuh
to get me high" and "You're here to turn me on".

I hear the "is" very clear, actually

Good idea Sean!

"Fight like an animal, bang like a cannibal"

"I feel weaker than ever unless I'm walking through the desert at night"

Oops.

My big mishear from that was always "fuck like an animal"

I heard both of these, so I managed to get the whole lyric completely wrong basically!

BITCH WHERE

I will fight and claim it's "You're here to/Your heat turn me on" and "Need'yjah to get me high"

If we have to talk about a misheard b-side lyrics, we might as well talk about
'Turn Myself In'.

I've always heard
"turn myself, need you here, want you bad, you should have me in handcuffs
"

But the lyrics websites give different outakes :
- "Turn myself in truly, warned you bad, you should have me in handcuffs"

- "Turn myself in truly, watch your back, you should have me in handcuffs"

- "Turn myself, need you here, want you bad, you should have me in handcuffs"
**

** This is what I hear as well, however the website from which I took that lyric from also state that Rochelle sings "Like a crime that's been put onto me". It does fit with the whole "I feel like a criminal, turn myself in, sirens, lock me up, handcuffs" theme, but I always heard "like a crown that's been put onto me"

At first, "crown" made sense to me because I thought (French here!) that crown was basically a bridal/wedding veil!! So the lyrics just before made even more sense "It lingers like a crown that's been put onto me". I always pictured a really beautiful lingering down Rochelle's back.

But I fail to see how a crown can be lingering? Not that I can see how "a crime" could either, but at least it keeps up with the theme of the song...

HELP.

Love how it's "your heat is turn me on" and not "your heat is turning me on." Almost as bad as "my hands doesn't wanna hold yours."

As for Turn Myself In, I definitely think it's the last one. And I hear crime rather than crown.
