Posted June 27, 201510 yr I love older style female country artists mainly, from the 50's to the 80's, songs with the old steel guitar. My favourite singer of all time, not just couintry singers, is Tammy Wynette. Known for her 1975 UK No.1 single Stand By Your Man, that's not even in my top 5 fave songs of hers. I could listen to her all day long. Also love Patsy Cline, Kitty Wells, Loretta Lynn, Dottie West, Connie Smith, Lynn Anderson, Billie Jo Spears and Johnny Cash. Not keen on new country.
