I was more on about her personally as opposed to the team. She could have easily have captailised on her time just after the group like Cheryl/Nadine/Nicola but didn't.

On the side of what though? Her acting career has never taken off and I'm sure that was coined as a side project to a solo music career at some point! It's such a shame to see this and Sarah flop as she's always been my favourite Girl Aloud. :( But I have to agree with Jay, she left it far too late to actually get a decent chart hit out of any solo material. Not that she would've had success to the extent of what Cheryl had, but a top 40 single/album was something I thought each girl could get at the very least.

 

Let's hope the Girls Aloud reunion 2.0 is not far away! :cheer:

Any chance of her having even modest commercial success after delaying her solo career for so long was obliterated when 'Threads' was chosen as the track to launch her. Legitimately one of the worst attempts at a debut single I've ever heard and, harsh as it may be because she's a nice person, she didn't deserve any better than she got with it.

Of course she's not in it for the commercial success, but she needs at least some level of success if she wants her label to release her album and I'd bet she wants to avoid embarrassing herself too. Unfortunately what's happening right now is pretty embarrassing.
