Martha is better than everyone tbh.

I think Martha's entire unrequited love story was fantastic. People hate her because she was so different to Rose, but Martha had a bigger heart than her, imo. What she went through for the Doctor in Human Nature and Last of the Time Lords, Rose & Donna could only imagine. I wish people would appreciate her a little more.

I do think his character was developed a lot better than Mickey but when compared with everyone else in this list, he is still inferior. I do very much like him but its just tough competition! Nearly did go for Martha though so she's probably next to go for me.

I don't hate Martha because she wasn't the new Rose (I don't even think Rose was THAT good, it's all about Donna). I hate her because she seems like an awful person to spend time with and someone who likes themselves just a little TOO much.
