Yes Sam has done his own version of this Amy Winehouse Classic and is out tomorrow as part of the reissue of first album In the Lonely Hour. He also said to Annie his new album has a title and 4 completed tracks so something should be out in 2016.

Hopefully in Q4 of 2016. I love Sam's music but I'd definitely say he needs a bit of a break.

 

'Love is a Losing Game' lyrically fits his album really well, but it doesn't come close to Amy's.

I think it sounded stunning but yes he needs a years break before he makes a comeback to build up some hype again.

I've not listened to Radio 1 today, I'm guessing that predictably the Coldplay song is TOTD?

(Couldn't find a proper video so that's the X Factor performance). It's properly hit me after that performance actually, shame it's got no chance of being No. 1 cos in an Adele-free climate it would have been a dead cert I reckon... though she's obviously also got Justin to contend with, but it should be close between those two I think.
