WHEN the PUSSYCAT DOLLS split five years ago in the most acrimonious of showbiz fallouts, I wouldn’t have predicted a reunion.

 

The other cat ladies turned on the girl band’s standout member NICOLE SCHERZINGER as she plotted a big future as a solo star.

 

But circumstances are very different in 2015 after Nicole was axed by record label RCA, dropped from The X Factor’s judging panel and left heartbroken following her split with her long-term boyfriend, F1 star LEWIS HAMILTON.

 

Now I’ve learned the ladies behind Noughties mega hits such as Buttons and Don’t Cha are in talks about reuniting.

 

Apparently, Nicole’s feud with fellow Dolls KIMBLERLY WYATT, ASHLEY ROBERTS, MELODY THORNTON and JESSICA SUTTA is now over.

 

My Dolls source revealed: “The band are in talks about reuniting soon and they are trying to see if they can get all of the girls together to do it.

 

“The fall-outs and bitching from back in the day are all water under the bridge now.

 

“Nicole has seen most of the girls on and off over the years and she’s ready to get back together.

 

“Rather than trying to patch up their differences, it’s more about working out how to get everyone in the studio and see what it will actually sound like.”

 

In a new interview, Nicole further raised hopes of a return to the days of Dolls Domination.

 

She said of a reunion: “I don’t see why not. I miss it. I miss the girls.

 

“It was such a crazy time for us that stepping away from it now and taking some time away from it I’m like ‘I wanna be able to do it again and really enjoy it and take it in and enjoy the travels with the girls’.

 

“I think in due time if it’s meant to be, that would be a lot of fun and a blessing.”

 

Sounds to me like a very happening thing.

 

The cynics will, of course, suggest Nicole is only interested in tapping into her Pussycat past again because her last solo release, On The Rocks, charted at No90.

 

But in fairness, every time I’ve spoken to Nic about the Dolls over the past few years she’s always been open to the idea of getting back together when the time is right.

I hope they call themselves Nicole & The Pussycat Dolls.

Quite excited by this! I do hope to hear Ashley and Melody sing on some of the tracks

I hope they cover all the LOST CLASSIX from the solo works, Love Gun is crying out for Nicole's PIPES

As long as Ashley replaces Nicole as the new leader then I'm happy

I'm guessing even though she's denied it, it doesn't mean that it wont happen, they will obviously not want it to be knowledge until everything is finished. I feel sorry for Nicole, 'Big Fat Lie' did flop incredibly hard but 'Your Love' was a reasonable sized hit. I blame her management for her not performing as well as she should worldwide. She's such an incredible vocalist but has all the wrong material.

 

The ratings for her latest show in the US was a good success though and if I was her I would give her solo one last chance if she manages to become a judge on The Voice but release the single during the shows in order to get a live performance.

She did that on the X-Factor tho. She sang Pretty but didn't even f***ing release it.

It's obvious her management had some issues, but I think the type of music Nicole clearly has more of a passion for (Big Fat Lie was clearly a passion project) is going to limit her unless she goes desperate and hoey again, which I for one REALLY WANT HER TO.

Big Fat Lie was mostly quite bland and uninteresting, On the Rocks and Run were NEVER gonna be hits imo. I really hope the PCD reunion does happen, I can't say I ever expected it to considering all the bad blood but I'm listening to their singles right now and there's so much goodness!

Exactly. All killer (love or otherwise) no filler.

I can't even remember how most of the songs on BFL go! Nothing on there was ever really going to be a hit, I guess Run did quite well considering but the X Factor perf should have done more than it did.

I can't see Nicole wanting to share the spotlight lets be realistic here.
