Adil's song has been growing on me all week, I'd love to see that in Stockholm but I agree with Ryan, it'll be a Laura v Tom situation.

According to someone on ESC Forum Adil's song has undergone a slight revamp ahead of Sunday, not sure if it's true but that's quick work if it has!
Ooooh, well the verses are perfect but the chorus could do with beefing up slightly so I hope it's true!

Voting
The first part of voting will consist of 50% televote and 50% international jury vote with each giving out 60, 70, 80, 100 and 120 points to the five songs. The international jury vote will consist of 10 juries who will be music professionals from Azerbaijan, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Montenegro, The Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Once the points are combined, the top two songs will move forward into the superfinal where the winner will be decided by 100% televoting.

Potential Winners?
According to Betfair, Laura Tesoro goes into the show as favourite to win with odds of 4/6 and this is presumably due to the fact that Laura won the flash televote following last week's performance of her Eurovision song. Tom Frantzis is expected to be her closest competitor on odds of 7/4, with Adil Aarab not too far behind on odds of 11/4. Betfair think however that it would take a big shock for either Astrid Destuyver or Amaryllis Uitterlinden to take the victory with odds of 8/1 and 12/1 respectively.

Fan opinions would back up these odds with the majority believing Laura and Tom will be the superfinalists. In general, Eurovision fans seem to prefer Tom to win although as previously mentioned, Laura won the flash televote last week and has more YouTube views than the other 4 put together so had the Belgians on her side last week at least. However, Flemish voters are apparently notorious for following jury and panel opinions so it could very easily come down to what the opinions of tonight's guest panellists are, and these panellists are Christer Björkman and Hadise.

Of course my favourite is Laura as you may have guessed (^_^), but it all feels to good to be true and it's perfectly set up for Christer to wander in and ruin the day. I predict Christer's favourite song will be Tom's as it does feel quite Melodifestivalen, and the public will follow his opinion and hand Tom the victory in the televote-only superfinal. That said, if it did happen, I really really like Tom's song too so it wouldn't be all bad. It's just Laura's song is so amazing!

Not that it really matters in a 5 song final, but Laura deserves a late running order slot tonight and Tom deserves an early one as Laura has been on 2nd and 3rd in the process so far with Tom being on 4th and 5th. :kink:

As I said before, Irish fans will be hoping Tom doesn't get the ticket as for me I'm Not Lost is a much better version of the very good but generic and cheesy Sunlight.

Just listening to the studio version previews on Belgian iTunes, actually really liking them all - even Astrid and Amaryllis who were very underwhelming live. Tom's slightly ahead of Laura on iTunes, but the other three are way behind so it is definitely going to be quite the battle tonight!
Adil's staging and vocals were much improved! A shame he doesn't have a chance :(
Laura's performance was so good, love how it is all staged - very very effective. Quite reminiscent of the 'Tonight Again' performance in Vienna minus the street ligths!
Same as last week for Tom, very good song but he doesn't have the stage presence especially coming after Laura who has the most out of the 5.
Yeah it's definitely a cross between that and 'Sax', but hopefully the familiarity of the melodies will help get her votes! Not that 'Sax' has been a hit in Belgium yet, although apparently it is starting to take off in The Netherlands.

Nope it is flopping 🙈

Ah shame! I read a week or two ago that one of the radio stations were making it their most played track of the week and then I saw it go top 20 on iTunes so it seems like it was getting some support behind it. But yeah it's dropped to around #40 now.

So pleased Laura won, she has so much stage presence and such a catchy song. She won the international jury vote, the televote and the flash televote in the superfinal so fully deserved! I'm not sure it's a qualifier, although it would've stood out in a field like last year's so it definitely can't be ruled out making the final at this early stage.

The winning performance:

Given Belgium have a legacy of utter tosh, this will be the second consecutive solid entry. Granted it could do with an uplift, like "sax' on a budget.

Laura :clap3:

Really wondering how it'll do. It could do with a lil more oompf tbh

Sales don't influence our charts. It's all about streaming and airplay and even with that track of the week thing it failed to even make the top 150 on Spotify

Aww poor Fleur, at least she's taking off in Australia! :heehee:

Laura reminds me a bit of Pixie Lott looks-wise, vocal-wise, and it also has a similar sound to her most recent album. This is all a good thing of course.

Sounds so shameless when it starts up  But a very watered down version of "Sax", could do with a lot more oomph.
