13 Selena Gomez - Good For You (feat. A$AP Rocky)

New peak for this. Hopefully it can repeak at #12 before the new releases rush in. I hope her VMA performance also gives her a boost.

Adam Levine is building up solo credits steadily while still part of Maroon 5.

She doesn't perform there. So...

Wow, Reggae making a comeback to the charts it would seem :cheer:

If R City becomes a long-running hit and Stylo G cracks the top 40, hopefully we'll be getting more reggae hits looking forward to 2016.

Oops, I was mislead by Wikipedia last week then. Oh well. I guess this Friday will give he song its peak then.

Rude was reggae though, and that didn't really help reggae take off. And I can't imagine either R City or Stylo G being nearly as big as Rude.

That's true, but there's a lot more American interest in reggae now thanks to songs like Rude and Cheerleader. Dancehall artists like Kranium and Lucas DiPasquale have been signed by major labels there which doesn't mean they'll be massive but its indicative of a greater demand for reggae.

I think R City will do very well here and if pop songs like that have obvious reggae influence then record labels will naturally take greater interest in Dancehall artists.

Also, Pop trends go in cycles and the last real 'Reggae-boom' was in 2003-04 so we're overdue!

Yes. It's out. His label could have waited until Friday though.

Does the VMAs even air on UK TV?

I think they do a couple of nights earlier, but even so, the songs performed usually get boosts either way, from general internet hype and publicity.

#67 is great for it with no promo/airplay but I was hoping 'Goodbye' could actually turn out to be a hit, its early midweek release probably suggests that they've given up on it :(

Intoxicated was also surprisingly released well before its release date than shortly afterwards it was deleted and put up for pre-order again.

I hope this is again such an error and will be deleted soon. btw on Amazon it's still not available and shows a release date of 18th September.

John Newman's new single, Tiring Game, with Charlie Wilson has been added to iTunes... what was the problem with waiting two days
