  1. I can't see anything other than Spain winning the tournament, of course in cup football anything can happen but they just seem to be levels above everyone else. I'll be very surprised if they don't win it.

It's unfortunate for Crystal Palace but really they will have a better chance of winning the Conference League instead of the Europa League. Also it was the FA Cup trophy itself that was the biggest reward for them winning the FA Cup final and that can't be taken away from them. Winning the Conference League qualifies you into the Europa League so maybe it could be the following season instead if they manage to succeed Chelsea in getting their hands on the Conference League trophy.
  3. Kyle Walker has signed for Burnley. Feels a bit like a random transfer.

  5. I just remembered Marc-Vivien Foe is another person who passed away while currently playing in the Premier League for Manchester City and he was the same age as Jota. He died while playing for Cameroon in the 2003 Confederations Cup and Man City retired the number "23" which was his shirt number. It's a further reminder that anything can happen in an instant. The effect that this will have on Jota's teammates who shared so much time with him I can't even imagine either.
  6. My condolences go out to the family of Diogo Jota and Andre Silva. This is very shocking and devastating news, Jota was a very good footballer and he'll be a big loss to Liverpool and Portugal. I can't remember a current Premier League player passing away before. R.I.P Diogo Jota & Andre Silva
  7. Mi intento subliminal de que España entrara en la puja ha fracasado. Ahora todo gira en torno a que Suecia se lleve el trofeo. 😳
  8. Man City knocked out of this by Al Hilal in a 3-4 defeat. I thought Rodri was back? 🤨

  11. ^ This shows that there is such a thing as "having too much money"
  12. How many matches out of 8 do we predict Tottenham will lose in the league phase?

Apparently Spain are the highest ranked team in the tournament and they are also the current World Champions so expect them to lift the trophy!
  15. Congratulations Sarah! Thanks Mack for hosting this.
