  1. Party Tricks FC is my team in both of the leagues.
  2. A brand new season of Premier League action also means the return of fantasy football. I have created two leagues for anyone who wishes to join! A main league based on points accumulated over the course of the season & a head-to-head league where competitors will be pitted against one another and hope to outscore each other on any given gameweek. Last season Liam Sota came out on top in the main league but was pipped to the post by me in the head-to-head league. Will there be a different champion this time in either of the leagues? Time will tell! The main league will remain open for anyone to join throughout the season, however for the head-to-head league you would need to enter your team before the Gameweek 1 deadline which is 18:30 UK time on Friday 21st August. Website: https://fantasy.premierleague.com Main league code: tvduls Head-to-head league code: r4hgga Best of luck to all participants!
  3. Yes of course!
  4. Cool! I'll create a new thread and new fantasy leagues when I get time.
  5. Would people be interested in new leagues for the upcoming 2026/27 season?

Big Cass has gone straight for J'Von Evans and said that he's the first "in a stack of bodies" so as I guessed it seems like he's just going to go after a bunch of midcarders but I don't think there will be much longevity in that. The tag division on both Raw and Smackdown has been stale for a while, especially on Raw where they haven't put much effort into at all. There was a period last year when the tag division on Smackdown was really competitive and they ended up having a multi-team tables, ladders & chairs match but since then things have gone downhill. I think a big major problem will always be having more than one tag team championship. If all tag teams on both shows go for just one set of titles then there would be more options and the tag scene would be more lively.

Hopefully Chelsea Green will be the only Smackdown Women's champion after Rhea returns because it's long overdue for her and there are good storylines that can be had with her as a comedic cowardly champion who will do anything to avoid defending the belt whilst still winding up the rest of the roster. As for Summerslam I preferred night 2 overall rather than night 1 but just like WrestleMania there were too many adverts during the show and that time could have been poured more into the matches to make them longer. The Chad Gable Vs Penta match in particular should have been longer for the storyline leading into it concerning Gable and him winning his first singles title on the main roster. Big Cass is returning to WWE tonight on Raw but no mention of Enzo Amore so who knows what direction Cass will be going in this time around. The promo vignettes make it look like he could be a no nonsense type of character who will squash a number of mid-carders.
  8. You're welcome! 😊
  9. From the 2nd round onwards I'll tag all participants once the new set of fixtures have been posted here, which as an early heads up will start with Crystal Palace Vs Manchester City on Friday 28th August.

  11. Buzzjack's Premier League Prediction Competition returns for a brand new season! Last season saw Rooney become the third person to win back-to-back titles. Can he emulate Suedehead2's feat in the 2010's of winning three consecutive titles? Can record 4 time champion Suedehead2 himself add another title to his name? King Rollo was the closest challenger to Rooney last season, can he go one better this time? will a former champion such as Dobbo or LewisGT secure another title? this summer saw LiamSime reign supreme in the World Cup Prediction Competition, can he carry that momentum into the Premier League Prediction Competition? maybe this season will see a maiden victory for regular contributors such as Steve201, Mack, Sarah, Flatcap or Viper*? or could we see a brand new competitor emerge and take home the glory this season? Who will win the most individual rounds? the most consecutive rounds? will personal best points tallies be improved upon? all will be revealed as the season unfolds! Rules are the same as last season with 2pts for the correct result e.g. a win or draw or 5pts for the correct scoreline. Opening weekend (All kick of times are 15:00 BST unless stated otherwise) Friday 21st August Arsenal Vs Coventry City (20:00) Saturday 22nd August Hull City Vs Manchester United (12:30) Everton Vs Crystal Palace Ipswich Town Vs Sunderland Nottingham Forest Vs Leeds United Brentford Vs Tottenham Hotspur (17:30) Sunday 23rd August Brighton & Hove Albion Vs Aston Villa (14:00) Manchester City Vs AFC Bournemouth (14:00) Newcastle United Vs Liverpool (16:30) Monday 24th August Fulham Vs Chelsea (20:00) Anyone can join in and take part whether you have a fleeting interest in football or you're an avid football fan. Here's the thread from last season: https://www.buzzjack.com/forums/topic/280913-buzzjack-premier-league-prediction-competition-202526/ Best of luck for the season to all participants!

It could be a season of struggle for Newcastle without Eddie Howe. He elevated them to what they've achieved within the last few years.
  13. It will be a tough defence of the European Championship for Spain if those managers can improve those national teams.

  15. Jurgen Klopp now confirmed as the new manager of Germany. It will be interesting to see how they do in Euro 2028 with him in charge.
  16. I would expect West Ham to come straight back up now that Bowen has confirmed that he's staying at the club. Hopefully Burnley don't get promoted, tired of seeing them in the Premier League.
  17. Apparently she was hit on the head with a hammer 21 times 😮
  18. Congrats once again LiamSime and thanks Mack for running this!
  19. If Germany didn't win the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, Spain would be the only European team to win a World Cup outside of Europe. As for the tournament itself I enjoyed it, got to watch more of it than the Qatar World Cup and teams that normally wouldn't qualify gave a good account of themselves. It did feel like it took forever to get to the end though but the expanded format will take some getting used to as every World Cup I've watched has had 32 teams and 64 games in total. Definitely not going to miss the hydration breaks or halftime shows 😅
  20. A cool coincidence/fact is that in both World Cup tournaments where South Africa Vs Mexico was the opening match, Spain went on to win the tournament. (2010 & 2026) and this is the only match to be played first more than once. The signs were there all along!
  21. Donald Trump to lift the trophy with Rodri
  22. 7 people guessed right
  23. Turns out that yes it was the start of that historic journey!
  24. This Spain side are now 2/3rds of the way to emulating their golden generation of the late 2000's and early 2010's.
  25. Congratulations Spain!
