Premier League 2025/26
I think it is what is at stake that made the goal get cancelled, this decision could essentially decide who wins the league. If this was matchday 7 of the season for example that goal would have stood no doubt. The officials know that it would never be forgotten by Arsenal fans if it stood and in the case of West Ham the damage might already be done even if they were to have won this match. Whatever happens though it has been an entertaining title race this season and it's good that both teams didn't win every week, this is how a title race should be if you're not supporting any of the teams involved in it. The results have not been to the detriment of the league as a whole unlike other title races where the opponents keep losing every week to the title challengers and then you end up with two teams having 90+ points.

Europa League 2025/26
I fully expect Aston Villa to win this, especially with Unai Emery the Europa League specialist in charge. Don't know anything really about Freiburg but I would be very shocked if Villa don't win that match. They could potentially enable the team who finishes 6th in the Premier League to qualify for next season's Champions League also.

World Cup 2026 Team Guide
Carrying on from where I left off for the subsequent teams that have been mentioned: Uzbekistan, Cape Verde, Qatar, Panama - Can't see these teams making it at all into the top 2 of their groups and most likely they will not be among the highest 3rd placed teams either. Jordan - They're in an open looking Group J but I think they'll fall short of making it into the top 2. Not so sure they'd be among the highest 3rd place teams either if they were to finish there in the group Scotland - They will finish 3rd as Brazil and Morocco will be too strong for them but they could be among the highest 3rd place teams Saudi Arabia - 3rd at best for them in their group South Africa - Will finish bottom of Group A Bosina and Herzegovina - Could make it out of Group B, this is one of the most open groups and it doesn't look like there is a stand out team here New Zealand - they have a good chance of making it out of Group G in 2nd place, likely to be between them and Egypt for 2nd place

Champions League 2025/26
I also think the outpouring of emotion at what is looking now like a likely Premier League title win will really take a lot out of Arsenal as a whole entity. If they secure it on the final day of the season then they'll have 6 days to try and change their mindset and their focus for the final. 22 years of frustration coming to an end will be near impossible to brush to one side in such a short space of time. I remember in 1999 & 2008 when Man Utd won the league on the final day of the season the celebrations were a little bit limited because we had the upcoming finals still to come and the wait to win the league prior to that wasn't long so it didn't feel so much like a heavy burden had been lifted. But for these Arsenal players you can't say the same thing so that would be another thing that would go against them for the final.

Champions League 2025/26
"Champions of Europe, you'll never sing that" ^ That's what people have been chanting about Arsenal for years so in order for that to remain intact they'd have to lose the final, which is why I'll be supporting whoever wins tonight's semi final. Not to mention the gloating from Arsenal fans that will happen if they were to win. There's no way that they'll win anyway, Bayern and PSG are levels above them and they would really have to have an off day to lose in a neutral stadium. Bayern are going for a treble and PSG are going for back to back European titles after not winning one for so long. So there's no way that either of them will slip up in the final. By the end of tonight we'll know who's going to lift the European Cup this season.

Premier League 2025/26
Maybe it was too good to be true regarding Tottenham getting relegated, we'll have to wait and see I guess. It already looks like two of next season's spots will be filled by Coventry and Ipswich so there will probably be less chance of Tottenham going down next season if they stay up this time. West Ham potentially having the biggest stadium in the Championship though! 😮

Scott Parker has left his position as manager of Burnley with immediate effect. Maybe there's hope of having a break from Burnley in the league for a few years at least? 🤷

Champions League 2025/26
One of the most entertaining matches I've ever watched! I was exhausted by the end lol. The defence on both teams was non-existent, it felt like all 10 outfield players on both teams were relentlessly going forward trying to create goal-scoring opportunities. I can imagine the 2nd leg next week will be similar but PSG might regret nearly squandering the 5-2 lead they had at one point only for Bayern to get the score to 5-4.

PSG Vs Bayern right now is just Attack Attack Attack lol. The type of football you'd play as a child with your friends.

World Cup 2026 Team Guide
I think Haiti, Curacao and Iraq will all be knocked out at the group stage with 3 defeats from 3. Just to score a goal will be a nice achievement, a bit like how Panama celebrated scoring against England at the 2018 World Cup even though they were being thrashed at that moment in the game.

Championship 2025/26 Season
Yeah congratulations to Coventry! It will be refreshing to see them in the Premier League, I remember them being there in the late 90's and early 2000's and didn't think it would take them so long to return. If they can provide Man Utd with 6 points next season though as a goodwill gesture it would be much appreciated 😂
