5p from every purchase of the limited edition Belgian Chocolate Crunch Bars will go to Cheryl's Trust, which was set up to help disadvantaged young people in the North East of England.

She has teamed up with Greggs to develop the treat, which goes on sale in stores nationwide on Tuesday, September 8.

Cheryl commended the bakery for "supporting The Trust and helping to give back to the North East - it really is a project that is close to my heart".

She said that she found it "lots of fun" coming up with the recipe, adding: "It was important for me to have something that I enjoy, and I'm sure everyone else will [too]."

Malcolm Copland, commercial director for Greggs, promised that Cheryl's chocolate will "satisfy taste buds, whilst also giving something back".

As a semi-regular visitor to Greggs I shall certainly keep an eye out and give it a few tries! Already has the Kimberley seal of approval too

My local didn't have any yesterday but they'd stocked up today!

Pretty tasty, hardly noticed the sultanas & glacé cherries. Very filling too, I wouldn't want more than one in one go.

These are really quite nice but for any stans thinking they'll go and buy a whole BUNCH, one will do - charidee or not.
