I actually had to look that up :lol: I stayed in Roermond over ten years ago and we went to some place nearby in Belgium where there are some mines where Jews hid away from the Nazis but I couldn't remember the name of it... it was a beautifully haunting place.

Yeah I was on a student exchange programme, stayed with a family there for 10 days and pretty much saw everything of The Netherlands except Rotterdam. :(

It was amazing and for years I wanted to make my mum move us there. :lol:

Well it was massively different from my little hometown in Portugal. Roermond just worked so efficiently and it was so pretty and clean I didn't want to leave. Almost had to be dragged out of the country. :D (Den Haag was super pretty from what I remember tho)
