March 4, 20169 yr This apparently reliable website has said that it is now confirmed, bar any last minute dramas, that 'Nessun grado di separazione' will be Francesca's song for Stockholm. The only decision left now is whether they go 100% Italian, 100% English or a bilingual version!
March 13, 20169 yr Francesca will be singing in Italian at Eurovision, but there will be an English chorus towards the end of the song!
March 23, 20169 yr Acoustic performance of the bilingual version: u9DOIv2Lk00 This has emerged as my fave this year after a fight between this and Dami, although Samra and now perhaps Poli are also up there. It's so stunning, Italian is a beautiful language and she has an incredibly captivating tone to her voice.
March 24, 20169 yr The studio version of the final Eurovision version is now out there on iTunes and my fear that they'd completely abandon the big notes in the final chorus has luckily not been realised, they have got rid of one of the big notes but there is still one remaining so that's ok!
March 25, 20169 yr It's going to take a lot of getting used to, but it doesn't harm it thankfully. It just feels odd for now because of the amount of times I've listened to the original! In general though this gets better and better, I can't see anything overtaking this for me
April 27, 20169 yr Not in my top 10 of the year, maybe not even top 15 because of the strength of this year but this has grown to easily be my favourite Italian entry since they returned. The English towards the end helps to elevate it for me.
