I mean not even Edyta, what is this shit. Way to throw away a probable top 10 and modern hit (Cool Me Down not Grateful obv).

God the national finals have all gone TITS UP THIS YEAR Spain excepted.

Not even close:

Michal - 36%

Margaret - 24%

Edyta - 18%

Oh HAHAHAHAHA

I mean, it's probably crap, without listening to it, but the reactions to them throwing away a young promising popstar (however weak her song was) and a respected Eurovision alumnus will be/are fun.

The fact is Margaret's vocals were just about perfect, and it was a possible Eurovision winner in the end.

It is a shame we'll never get to find that out because I fully believe you would have been wrong :D

Um, I'm sorry for your/Poland's loss.

Stop mocking, the Poles have basically just handed victory to FRANS :manson:

Poland can easily get a top 5 televote when they deserve one, and the juries would've appreciated a commercial hit and could've given that very high marks like most of Sweden's songs - top 5 was very possible and a chance to win I'm sure of it considering the staging for this national final was all very last minute.

Hmm, it's quite nice. Not a challenger but perhaps not even a definite non-qualifier.

But even though I DO still doubt the chances of something like Cool Me Down, this is a worse choice for success, no denying that.

I hope that teaches you all to never mess with the #longhairdontcare crew *.*

(I say this without hearing it, fully expecting to prefer the rather good Margaret song x)

Sorry to bump the Polish topic as if you are anything like me, you automatically feel angry at the sight of the word Poland. But their music video has also arrived:

Taking the *obvious dramas* out of the equation, it's probably on par with Monika's song last year and may sneak through on diaspora votes if it's lucky. His live vocals are great after all.

Poles still have no clue about difference between what's fresh & hot and what's outdated as hell.

He's not in a wheelchair though. I am calling bottom five in semi for this. No chance whatsoever

Guess who's getting a quasi-push with a (bit late) video and has also been signed to Warner Music Sweden!

Not that I imagine it means much but I think odds must be pretty good that Margaret will get her shot on the Eurovision stage in the not too distant future.

Already being discussed in Pop! :o :kink:

But yes she was on the UK New Music Fridays Spotify playlist last Friday which was very excited and she reached the heights of the top 700 on iTunes. Seems to have already gained a bit of traction in Scandinavia so I could see it being a minor European hit at least, hopefully Poland internally select her in the future!
