October 30, 20159 yr Well you said it twice now, so if we didn't get it before we got it now :kink: I've thrown a lot of shade at Samantha Jade for all the delays in her Album and her questionable singles, but my frustration really isn't with her it's with the way she's being managed. Even initially when they were planning on releasing her album I was convinced she passed her "Sell By" date. It just seemed like they were always waiting for the right time and the right single to release her album and it really hasn't happened for her and I'm not convinced it ever will. It's clear that they don't want her to be another one album X-Factor wonder. I think Samantha has what it takes to be very mainstream. But all these failed attempts and false promises aren't winning her any support.
October 30, 20159 yr LMAO NO WAY Ridiculous, I guess she's focusing on Home & Away now :/ She's being managed so awfully though, she could have been at least as big as Jessica Mauboy with proper handling etc surely?
November 19, 20159 yr Author She said on a radio interview that "Always" will be a single and she's filming the video soon. She tried to film the video 4 times but the weather wasn't good.

February 5, 20169 yr Author Preview of the video: She's also the first ambassador for the Logie Awards. I think she may perform there which would be great promo for "Always" since there is literally nothing big on tv right now and she confirmed a deluxe edition of "Nine" later this year. Looks like they don't want to give up on the "Nine" era yet.
February 5, 20169 yr Shocked they're still giving her another push. The album is actually pretty solid after initially dismissing it but Show Me Love would have a much stronger single than Always.

February 5, 20169 yr Interesting they are still going ahead with this, I thought she would be out on her ass in Summers Bay. Glad to see she is getting a 73rd chance at being a popstar. Hopefully they will include some of the earlier singles on this deluxe version of Nine and some new more upbeat songs too.

February 6, 20169 yr Always would be ineligible I think, it was released after 1st September but if it IS released before being submitted as an entry it can only be in the act's home country. She'd definitely be good with a new song though!
February 6, 20169 yr I think as long as it wasn't released before September 1st then there's no issue whatsoever! For example María Isabel's 'La Vida Solo Es Una' has been on UK iTunes since it was released in Spain back in October as far as I know, yet it didn't become a potential Eurovision entry until last month. I don't think Samantha's situation is different to that so she'd be fine with Always.
February 6, 20169 yr I would hope for something different to Always for Eurovision, just for the sake of having something new. I am still gutted Firestarter, Up and Sweet Talk aren't on Nine.
