Funny, you're making it sound like Kylie Minouge is some kind of a credible artist. A better question'd be - they've worked with Kylie, wtf shouldn't they work with Britney?"

 

Sorry, Kylie may have been in the biz longer...

 

But as far as talent goes, she's not above Britney. Neither can really sing, neither can really write (does Kylie even write her own songs?) and Britney performs better which is subjective. Technically speaking though, neither are great musicians. If SS worked with Kylie, they can do it with Britney.

kylie is a very good live singer check out any of her concert dvds where she always sings live,yes kylie does write som eof her own songs maybe not them all but she wrote alot on her impossible princess album,

 

kylie is a legend who is around in the business for 20 years and is stronger than ever britney has been fading since her first album and her career is in the gutter now where it belongs

Britney writes some of her songs as well, but let's admit it... neither one of them is this great, credible, unbelievable songwriter. They make catchy music, that's all.

 

I was talking about talent, yet you started mentioning success. If we're already at it, Britney sold around 80M from albums alone. Call me when Kylie does that. :lol: That's irrelevant to my point, but since you pointed it out anyways... :)

 

i may have read your message wrong and i do apologise,alot of britneys success came from america yes britney is far bigger than kylie in america as kylie as such neverreally made it there but in europe kylie is far more regarded than britney,kylie has gone from strength to strength over the years ,and yes she had a lull a few years ago,britney ath emoment is at a career low as her last few albums havnt done as good,maybe she will come back bigger than ever but i really think she has had herday

How dare anybody say Kylie can not sing live. Kylie is an amazing live vocal talent. That is not an oppinion, that is a clear cut fact. She has proved this with many live performances! If you saw showgirl or any live performance you will be impressed. Britney can not hold a note to Kylie.

 

Regardless of american sales or not Kylie is far better regarded than Britney. They are not even on the same level!

Hey, I like Britney. I know she can't sing worth c**p, but neither can't Kylie. The fact that I'm a fan doesn't stop me from saying that.

 

Kylie has an average voice, at best. Britney too. Both make fun and meaningless music. NEITHER ONE IS CREDIBLE musically yet they [or just Kylie] worked with the SS, that's the point.

The UK critics love her, true, but technically speaking she's not that talented. She has good dance music and she's a nice person with a clean image, unlike Britney who's become a lipsynching tabloid fodder. Kylie is more respected personally.

 

But if you really look at her music only, it's just fun and absolutely meaningless music. No deep lyrics, no powerful voice... nada. Kylie and Britney make catchy music, period. They're not great at songwriting and they aren't vocalists as well.

I agree with you but although I am not a fan of either I think Kylie is vastly supeior to Britney ^_^

Exactly, and she had a hand in co-writing ALL the tracks on this album, even writing two all by herself. It may not have been her most successful album ever, but it won her a level of critical acclaim Britney Spears could only dream of getting.

 

Kylie has a great voice IMO, and at least it's one you'd recognise anywhere if you heard it, unlike Britney's which is as flat as a pancake.

How has this turned into a childish "My Popstar is better than your Popstar" argument :wacko:

 

I love Kylie, but she is dire live.
