Hello!

As we all know, there are some RAVISHING new albums coming out on 13/11 which will kick off the Christmas selling season in STYLE before Adelegend takes over.

I have posted the five that I believe are most anticipated, either by the general public or by Buzzjack. I have listed a range of positions and predictions in the poll that you can choose from; I used the opening sales of the act's last album but also the performances of the singles and the artist's chart record on the whole to make a list of sales ranges. You may agree with the ones that I have set; you may disagree, but all in all I think they are accurate.

It is pretty hard to predict Ed, Ben and Kylie as their albums are the first of their kind: obviously, it is Ben's first album altogether, Ed's first re-release, and Kylie's first Christmas record. Biebs is hard to predict too, because his last albums have debuted in the 30-40k range, but his popularity at the moment is so huge that I think he could do similar figures to Taylor's 1989 (90k). 1D are perhaps the most straightforward and easiest to predict.

Enjoy!

I'm going for:

1. One Direction - 126k

2. Justin Bieber- 67k

3. Ed Sheeran- 56k

5. Ben Haenow - 42k

12. Kylie- 9.5k

Also, I've realised that I've missed out some 'specify in comments', NOT THAT I NEEDED TO INCLUDE ALL OF THEM, but I'm TIRED.

Me:

1 1D 140-150k

2 Justin 90k

3 Ben 40k

4 Ed 30k

8 Kylie 20k

I've got Eva Cassidy's release on my mind too, as she has done quite well in Christmas seasons in the past, but I don't think that she will sell any more than these.

Also, could a moderator please edit this so that users can select a position too? I've tried to edit it, but I think I was supposed to select the option that allowed users to pick as many options as possible. Sorry for my clumsiness.

1. 1D - 105K

2. Biebs - 68K

3. Ed - 33K

Ben - 21K

Kylie - 16K

I feel people are WAY over estimating Ben H, I think even 20K+ is generous tbh. -_-

1) One Direction

2) Justin Bieber

3) Ed Sheeran

4) Ben Haenow

5) Kylie Minogue

I'm hoping Alone In The Universe can do better than Zoom. At least top 15 would be good.

I think Kylie will sell closer into Christmas, Little Mix have a lot of promo next week rather than this week so I could see them challenging a second week top 5. And I don't think Ben Haenow has much chance of going top 5 either.

Edited by Joe.

Unfortunately, one direction will be number one with another dire album but their sales will be down compared to their other albums. I predict Kylie lower end of top10 and Ben Haenow will miss top 10.

Justin's highest is 38K so anything above that is great

He's pretty much guaranteed to sell considerably more than that. Can't see him doing less than 60k at the very least, but I'm still thinking it'll be in between the 75-90k band with a very good chance of him getting nearer to the top of that.

Still think that people are underestimating 1D and Kylie too (though I agree with Joe that she'll sell more copies going into Christmas; it will probably sell really consistently in comparison to her last few releases) but in my previous prediction post I have certainly overestimated Ben. 30k at the most if he's lucky, with Ed easily outselling him.

Eva Cassidy will be in the top ten too, I think.

Little Mix probably won't stay top five and Miss Goulding will lose her top ten position, with Sam Smith also climbing above her next week.

Justin will more likely top the album download chart but 1D will top the official album chart

01 Bieber 95k

02 1D 89k

03 Ed 40k

08 Ben Whonow 15k

17 Kylie 7k

1. 1D 135k [should be high as it's their final album in a while, possibly ever]

2. Biebs 80k

3. Ed 35k

7. Ben 16k

13. Kylie 8k

Bieber could outsell One Direction in the first week as he appears to be more popular right now.

1. 1D 120k

2. JB 70k

3. Ed 30k

Ben may be miss TOP 5 .He is not strong

I think Ed will sell around 20k-30k so anything above that is great

1D: 100k - 120K - No. 1 (113K Sales)

JB: 100K + - No. 2 (106k Sales)

Ed: 50K + - No. 3 (76K Sales)

BH: 50K + - No.6 (51K Sales)

KM: 30K + - No. 9 (31K Sales)

This is hard to predict but I don't think it will be too close between 1D and JB in sales. Ed will sell a lot more of this album as it will have the extra material (I've yet to buy the album so will be getting this). Ben will sell quite a few albums but will plummet so I think the 51K will be more of the bulk that he will sell (Hopefully lol). Kylie will sell a lot of this album as its one of the albums that her fans will be expecting (Santa Baby cover). I'm not sure about the sales to be honest but she should debut in the top 10 with this.

I think Jeff Lynne's E.L.O. new studio album will either sneak in around positions 10-13. Possibly selling just above 20k

01. One Direction (137,000)

02. Justin Bieber (95,000)

03. Ed Sheeran (30,000)

06. Ben Haenow (15,000)

20. Kylie Minogue (6,500)

I prefer easier predictions - like after next week, Adele will be #1 clear through to Xmas, and possibly well beyond. :P
