The premise is simple. 4/5 individuals who have never met before host dinner parties for each other with the hope of coming out on top. They have to make a starter, main and dessert and entertainment/themes are optional. Each person then marks each other in secret before the winner gets £1,000.

Thrilling daytime TV? Somehow it ACTUALLY IS. With a perfectly sarcastic commentator in Dave Lamb, the show is so addictive which isn't helped by the fact that it's always on TV through one of the Channel 4 erm channels. It's even more perfect when you get an oddball.

The show of course generated this moment of TV GOLD too:

Yeh i like to watch this.

There have been so many moments across the years. The one above is among my top 5, she was a rancid cow and got what she deserved. My ultimate though is 'OH WILL YOU JUST SHUUUUT UUUUUUP'' after some foul gay has finally realised he's out of his depth in an argument.

There was a recent one (during the summer I think) with a FOUL Irish woman called Anne Marie who had a go at everyone, about everything, and assumed it was all their doing and they were just jealous of her. Plus she was dog rough and thought she was a stunner. Her ''acting'' at the start had me in fits too.

That reminds me of one I saw where there was a, let's say a bit of an oddball, who basically alienated himself from everyone, which one of the women took advantage of and sought a disagreement with him over everything. At one point, he just snaps and shouts in her face 'JUST SHUT UP' and then just smiles to himself and acts as though nothing has happened.
I think that might be the same one, was the girl called Anna? (she was a bit of a bitch too, at least in the one I'm referring to).
This programme is sooo addictive and I can't put into words how much I find Dave Lamb's commentary hilarious. Especially when he gets bitchy!

I'm usually really late to the party but this is a moment that I actually saw as it happened. He had a huge chip on his shoulder all of his night and ended up making a mug of himself which he thoroughly deserved tbh!
YES!! He was utterly delusional and took the whole thing so, so badly. This week has been GOLD in general to be honest.

Was watching this when it happened, did he completely forget he was being filmed and they would show it on TV in front of millions of people  Should have though before making himself look like an idiot.

And knowing Channel 4 they'll repeat that one every weekend
