November 1, 200618 yr she flopped more then Lisa Scott-Lee :o :o lol yep even thats possible. Some people underestimate Lisa! :D Lisa's solo singles went in at #6, #11 and #13, there's nothing bad about that at all!
November 1, 200618 yr AWFUL. Glad it's flopping - it's just so so bad. I've gone off Lipstick now as well - dreadful career.
November 1, 200618 yr i adore this song, i wudda bought it but i have no money whatsoever. hmm poor Alesha
November 2, 200618 yr I hope the album is released before she is dropped. Her two singles have been overlooked. It does not meen they are no good. Its like the Rachel Stevens effect. Only, Alesha isn't amazing. lol
November 2, 200618 yr I think Alesha is a special talent. I would hate this to mean the end of her career so soon. :(

'Electric' went from 13 to 41 and that is what you call a big flop lol. Also, although it was with Intenso Project she also released the incredibly awful and cheesy 'Get It On' which charted at number 23.
November 2, 200618 yr I think Alesha is a special talent. I would hate this to mean the end of her career so soon. :( yeah well for all those thinking her album may still be released let me tell you now that there is absoloutely no chance whatsoever it'll be released after this big flop and the relative flop of her debut single and rather catchy 'Lipstick'.

Isn't it true that only something like 10 thousand copies were actually made by the label? That would explain why it dropped out of the charts like a brick. Once those copies were sold, that was it. It could have easily sold around 7 to 10 thousand in its first week with a charting position like 13 Edited November 2, 200618 yr by Ozmead

Were only thousand copies made for Totally Boyband group Upper Streets flop but rather catchy single 'The One' ?
November 3, 200618 yr to be very fair only limited amounts of "electric" were produced. Isn't it true that only something like 10 thousand copies were actually made by the label? That would explain why it dropped out of the charts like a brick. Once those copies were sold, that was it. It could have easily sold around 7 to 10 thousand in its first week with a charting position like 13 There were 15,000 copies pressed for 'Electric' and it sold 10k to reach #13. It was deleted the week after and nosedived to #47 the following week, but it may have sold the remaining 5k by now.

That's why I said Lisa's SOLO singles, Get It On was not solo. :P Also, as people have already said only 13,000 copies of Electric were pressed, it wasn't released to spend a year on the chart (not that it would have obviously) it was released to see if she COULD go Top10, or at least get a respectable position. She didn't make the Top10, but she is still very much with Concept and is releasing an album early next year. :D
November 4, 200618 yr By the way does ANYONE have an HQ PROPER version of Lipstick? I've been searching for it, since like, forever. I would be eternally grateful if anyone could send me and they would receive my unconditional love...
