Can't believe it's already November. Time really does fly.

 

Anyway, FOCUS ON ARIANA. She takes the #1 debut this week (her fourth #1 debut and her sixth overall). I'm pretty sure one of you will be happy about that. Trailing behind her (and not by much), we say hello to Adele as she leaps up 15 spots to #2. Both of them knock the previous week's top 3 down two places, ending a 4-week run for Selena. Adele and Ariana are the only two new top 10's. Slay. One new song enters the top 20 this week: give it up for Pentatonix who have nabbed a performance slot in the American Music Awards this year - they're up another 4 spots to #19 with "Can't Sleep Love". The top 30 sees four new songs, one of them being a debut. We've got a perfect choice for our greatest gainer this week - One Direction's "Perfect" vaults up 20 spots this week to #21. You can tell that I've really gotten into that song. The tag team of MNEK and Zara Larsson are not far behind though, as they rise up another 7 spots to #27 with "Never Forget You". Justin Bieber makes yet another high debut with his latest track, "Sorry" at #28. Hope this makes up for not debuting you last week, will you forgive me? Diplo and Sleepy Tom follow Bieber launch up 7 spots to #30 with "Be Right There". Aaaaand all this extra movement mean there are no other new top 40 debuts apart from "Focus", "Hello", and "Perfect".

 

Three other songs debut this week, making a total of five. Joe Jonas finally releases something off the wake of his brother's success as his newly formed band DNCE makes a sweet debut at #45 with "Cake By The Ocean". Gwen Stefani has also launched a comeback single off the brink of the latest season of The Voice - "Used To Love You" debuts at #47. Lastly, Fall Out Boy and Demi Lovato sure make an illustrious collaboration as "Irresistible" debuts at #48.

 

While "Perfect" takes the greatest gainer spot, there have been a lot of big droppers lately. The biggest dropper goes to Nick Jonas with "Levels", down 15 spots to #40.
