Also got to factor in that many habitual cherry pickers are just going to download the entire album.

Nathan Sykes - doing well, but really should be doing better considering the ridiculous level of radio support from Global & Bauer

I'm not trying to downplay Adele's success, just commenting that I am surprised how quickly her sales have dropped off (here in the UK, whilst elsewhere she continues to dominate). I thought she'd get quite close to selling 1 million downloads with “Hello” after that first week sale, however there is no denying the single hasn't quite held up as well as other big hits from the year. I take your point that admittedly streaming has taken away a lot of her potential sales yes, but I still expected the all conquering Adele to overcome that!

It's combined #1 on iTunes. You're acting like it's dropped out of the top 10 on iTunes. Stop embarrassing yourself.

It's actually 0.9674 combined. :D

It will be number 1 combined in the next update :)

It actually is number 1 combined... Have another look.

You thought she'd sell 1m downloads in 4 weeks, with no performance and everything geared towards the album? If she/her label wanted single download sales she'd have been on X factor or CIN or Strictly this last few weeks. Instead the first bit of promo is basically an hour long advert for the album on the BBC the night the album dropped.

I didn't say 1 million in 4 weeks, I meant in total! Obviously it could still get there but given the rate of drop off, it's unlikely at least for many months.

I have Hello on 1.0467 and Sorry on 1.0409. So Adele is slightly ahead? Unless I'm confused?

That's what I got. I thought I couldn't count for a second.

Well it will increase sales this week which will put it way past 600k, it will almost certainly be over the million mark in Jan. You are basically just digging for something that isn't there.

So you think the sales this week will be 88K+ ? When the current #1 on iTunes is barely selling 7K per day!? Not going to happen!

Since when is a song that had the biggest debut week in ages, spent #3 weeks at number 1, and is looking to pass 1 million sales, not a big hit?

Bizarre. Adele's success really has made some people lose all perspective with their blinded bitterness.

Lol. No one is saying "Hello" is not a huge hit. It will be the only song released in the second half of the year to get into the top-10 which is awesome.

But she dropped way faster than I anticipated. Maybe she didn't have much performances but she was all over media and a radio stapler. Yet no other than Justin Bieber overtook her being released on the same week as her.

I find it bizarre how she is huge everywhere else, just take a look at kworb in almost every other country. Yet she is only just a #1 here in UK.

Album first week sales will be massive and possibly all-time record breaking of course.

Nathan is doing fine, and he will increase in sales obviously after X Factor. I didn't expect it to go top ten personally. And it's barely top thirty on overall airplay.

Adele coming to be dropped tomorrow tbh. What a flop.

Right?!? I hope they give her at least a chance and let her make another album. She can recover :(

So she is huge here then!

I'd rather an artist be able to sell albums as opposed to 99p singles.

She *is* huge. :P my point wasn't to bring up the debate that oh my Darwin she is ready being dropped as we speak. I am wondering why she's even bigger everywhere else than here.
