I really liked this. It's odd because I have watched all the others after they have been on air, I can't now jump into the next episode straight away.

 

I think the right person went, she may have more to offer but really didn't show it, and the lipsync was so off.

is it only me who sees realllll potential in laila??? she's so grunge and RAW and she has that kind of rough around the edges spunk that's gonna be so good if channeled right, absolutely loved her lipsync for ur life

Laila gives me Adore vibes (not just because in the Meet The Queens, she basically looked like an Adore rip off) she is rough around the edges, but has something about her which I'm hoping will carry her quite far. Her Lip Sync was everything!

i wouldn't get my hopes for Laila (though i do love her). If rumours are to be believed then that means she sashays away at the latest - episode 3.

As much as I'm devestated that both Dax and Laila have gone, 2 I really liked, that lip sync was horrendous, so, so bad, possibly worse than Vivienne and Honey because like, I Will Survive is ICONIC. Really cannot wait to see who Ru was on the phone to, think it could be Skarlet Starlet, maybe Naysha, though I doubt it. I'm so f***ing gagged! Cannot wait for next week!!

Also really cannot stand Acid. Gave her the benefit of the doubt last week, but this week she was on another level of cunty.

I am kinda annoyed that they main part of the "next time" from episode 1 was in the last 20 seconds of the episode, and it wasn't actually reveled. I feel like maybe a queen who was eliminated first in a previous season, or didn't have much experience and left early may come back in episode 3. Or it could be one of the queens that everyone is blabbering on about that they are surprised didn't get through.

 

I didn't think much of the main challenge, there was too much going on. For something like that it would have been better for a final 5 or 6 challenge. I also though Derrick's lip-syncing was awful, considering that is supposedly his main talent.

 

Think you could be right about it being a queen from a past season! on the Logo website the link for the sneak peak into next week's ep is tagged: "who will be ruturning" so guessing it's past queen. I'm interested to see who it is, because I can't see it being Naysha of this season, but also I'm struggling to think of a queen who left early in a past season that really deserved to last a lot longer, and therefore return. April Carrion or Tempest maybe, but I can't see it somehow, maybe Max, but again probably not likely

wow, what an episode. i thought the main challenge was one of the best they have ever done and i actually thought everyone turned it out.

 

 

gutted to see both laila and dax go home so early. i think both had massive potential that wasn't really given the chance to be shown yet. i feel like this season is so cut-throat and so strong that if you mess up at all then you're kind of screwed. i did think that both dax and laila, despite not being the most natural in the challenge, actually did very well and improved so much from rehearsal; it was particularly hard for laila to stand out for instance in such a non-descript role and i think her physical height was unfortunately an issue.

 

 

 

based on that lip-sync though i do get why they are gone. it was poor to say the least. dax lacked energy and passion and although laila had that, she got the energy and vibe so wrong. getting naked to such a disco classic, like really?

 

 

 

also don't know why but i'm not massively excited about someone 'returning'. i am enjoying how fresh and exciting this season is, i don't feel the need for a past queen to return or a newbie just yet. will comment again when i find out who it is and maybe i will become excited but meh.

 

Alisa Summers, a queen for every season, just not this one (season 4) Will this be her season?

01. Bob The Drag Queen (living for the mix of harshness and helpfulness on untucked, so very bianca)

02. Naomi Smalls (why just safe? she was one of the standouts in performance and runway look was the best by far

03. Thorgy Thor (wasn't mad on runway look but personality just won't stop shining)

04. Kim Chi (so lovable and cute but there is definitely the issue of it all being aesthetic)

05. ChiChi DeVayne (was my least favourite going into it but really warming to her now)

06. Cynthia Lee Fontaine (kind of a dark horse. her personality really coming through, needs to step up runway though)

07. Acid Betty (horrendously vile personality but is turning the looks. don't think as perfect as judges think though, i have a real issue with her makeup)

08. Derrick Barry (don't understand the fuss at all. very bland and defensive - faded into background as much as laila i think)

09. Robbie Turner (lol at dress being H&M, although i suppose it was a decent look. just giving me nothing to be excited about and girl those eyebrows, no)

Snatch Game is usually the top 9 game, so I would assume it will be episode 4, pending no shocks.

 

I would laugh if that will be the challenge that gets him eliminated. As I believe his impersination is lip-synching as her, and as he loves her so much I don't think he will be able to do the comedy that made Tatianna's Britney back in season 2 so good.

Tbf it's gonna have to be pretty damn hilarious to beat Tatianna's Britney for me. Tati's snatch game is one of my favs of any season!

I think I'm more sad about Dax leaving because, as much as I was routing for laila, I feel like Dax had dark horse potential. But hey ho, this season is so strong, Ru ain't playing

 

 

Lol, the minute they said "this is a gay classic" and started discussing it before they'd sung I was like "yeah, they're both going home here" and that was before they'd even lip synced. Very predictable. I don't care about Dax, she was the only queen I neither loved nor disliked, she was just... there. Laila didn't give me much either but I kinda rooted for her for some reason? Neither are a particular loss though. Laila's storming off stage made me crease though!

 

Chi Chi was SUCH a clear winner this week, shot up in my estimations. Loved her look in the challenge as well, not so much the runway but she NAILED the challenge. I wish Acid Betty wasn't such a c**t because I love her looks, they're the conceptual type of drag I really appreciate but her personality is as toxic as her name would suggest, not even in a laughable Willam kinda way. The episode as a whole I found quite pointless and annoying, it was just half an hour of Kim Chi moaning that she couldn't dance and then when it came to the actual performance, 75% of it was about the character.

 

Bring on next week, I wanna know who's baaaack!

Acid Betty is nowhere near as good as she thinks she is. Her performance was good but her runway look was actually dreadful. What was that thing on the bottom on her dress and that giant snowflake on her face. Her personality is actually vile. And she pissed me off even more in Untucked.

 

Really agreed with the winner. Worried about Kim Chi.

 

 

Good call on the double elimination, neither of those two was going to last much longer after this week anyway. Also I saw somebody on reddit post this which I think would be hilarious
