omg can we please make a rule that no spoilers prior to tuesday morning...nobody with an ounce of sense would come in here on a tuesday and read something and then have a right to have it spoilt. currently this thread is just a load of black redacted lines when it doesn't really need to be surely?

Shangela again please

hahahahaha

This season is just so intense and I'm not quite sure if that's a positive or negative, there is no room for error, which isn't usually as evident until mid-season which is quite interesting to see but I do agree with Ru's decision - both weren't the same calibre of the other girls. I think Naomi and Robbie will be some of the next queens to go, there's potential but it always feels slightly lacklustre with them too. Cynthia is my dark horse I feel, I was rooting for Betty but after her being such a c*** I kind of give up. Whilst Bob, Kim & Derrick remain in my good books.

Good lord Acid Betty is a grade A knob...

Also yeah I think give it like 24 hours and then stop using spoiler tags, it certainly doesn't matter if you post on a Saturday for the episode airing nearly a week prior. Just have some tact really, if it's really soon, like you watch it live or a few hours later, then of course use spoiler tags, but if it's like 2 days after then it's fine to not use them. I'm inclined to agree with what jake said, anybody coming here on a Tuesday or Wednesday or later should expect that the week's episode will be being discussed :P

Kim Chi is definitely my stand out so far, I agree she is so adorable <3 I just want to give her the biggest hug.
Also, all caught up now and I think that double eliminaton was correct really. Both had potential but equally I think it would be a case where they never really came out of their shell enough, I agree that they wouldn't have lasted much longer. The lipsync was obviously the huge factor though, everything really can ride on that. It was so flat and half arsed for an iconic gay song that you could easily give so much to, I have to say I'm with Rob, I did think "oh they're both going home" part way through the lipsync because you could tell it wasn't really there.

I love Kim Chi, her personality is so adorable and runway has been perfect both times, but I really think there's only a couple of episodes left in her, sadly.

I can't see her being able to do comedy, the confidence just isn't there, she can't dance and I can't see her snatch game being particularly imaginative. She showed a spark in her characterisation in this episode, though - so could potentially do well in the proper acting challenges.

Also, I need Bob to step it up, 2 weeks safe just isn't good enough and I feel like there's so much potential there - she has such an amazing personality.

Following Naysha's elimination I was really upset as she was so gorgeous, a sweetheart and showed such a lot potential to do well so I started fearing for the other girls - and I was right.

Dax and Laila's eliminations weren't unjust however kicking them both out was a full-on publicity stunt. Neither of them were *that* bad in the lip-sync, I mean if they were honestly kicked out because of their underwhelming performances then why wasn't Pearl kicked out after lip-syncing against Fame? Now that lip-sync was terrible. I'm just kind of over the stunts that the production are pulling... yes I know it's a TV show but at the end of the day the queens shouldn't be forced to look stupid by having to lip-sync to a song when the producers already know they're eliminating them both. Plus they edited Laila to look like she was pissed and bolted off stage when in Untucked you see that she actually cracked a joke and did a death splat before leaving; they didn't even let her leave with dignity which is poor editing in my opinion.

I'm gutted about Dax and Laila leaving, especially the latter as I loved their aesthetics and personalities and really wanted to see more of them. To be honest I'd rather have seen Derrick go as she just really seems quite basic to me at the moment, and Cynthia (other than her personality) isn't standing out either.

Anyway, I was actually quite underwhelmed with some of the looks on the main stage last week - Kim, Betty, Thorgy and Laila's were the only looks I enjoyed, really - but after seeing the runway outfits this week... I. AM. GAGGED. Kim 100% looked the best with Bob, Betty and Naomi all looking phenomenal too. I even loved Throgy's jumpsuit and although simple, Chi Chi's red gown. I was expecting so much more from Derrick and Cynthia yet again but they didn't deliever and (Cynthia's feral shoe aside) they didn't really make a huge impact in the main challenge; I just feel like it's their turn to go now before we lose someone else more deserving of a place in the competition.

Chi Chi completely deserved her win this week and I agree with Betty and Thorgy finishing high, I probably would've thrown Naomi in there too as she was a standout. I don't agree with Kim placing low as she looked astonishing and her performance was really funny, but I guess everyone was so good and she really couldn't dance. I didn't mind Laila's dress - I thought it was cute - but Michelle was right when she said that the long green hair swallowed her up, an up-do would've gone down so much better. As for Dax, she looked okay but the gown needed to hit the floor and I wasn't overly keen on the colour combination.

Robbie peed me off with her incessant shade last week, and her lack of talent to back it up, but this week she shone through to me and her hand-dyed Vera Wang wedding dress was gorgeous so I think I'm back on her side now! (plus the way she handled Cynthia standing on her bare feet in heels during rehearsal was very kind and admirable).

I'm really looking forward to next week and I hope the surprise isn't underwhelming. I don't really want a queen from a previous season to return to the race, especially three weeks in - I'd rather it be Naysha or an entirely new queen.

chi chi/kim chi/thorgy/bob to win so far plz

katya returning in a 'can i have a sip of water' style would be absolutely incredible

Tbh as much as I really liked Laila, and was routing for her to do well, I think it was her time. She got a kick up the arse last week by landing in the bottom 2, and if that doesn't light the fire under you to severely step it up, then your always going to be on borrowed time, and in this season of such talent, i doubt she'd have been able to turn it around. Also that dress did absolutely nothing for her shape wise, probably would have looked better with better hair, but still. I'm more sad about Dax leaving because (judged on her meet the queens video and ep 1) I think she had more potential, but again can't blame Ru for sending her packing, she was dreadful this week. It's stressing me out trying to work out who's coming back. I'm almost certain it'll be a past season queen, as much as i'd love to see more from Naysha, but I honestly can't think of a queen who both left early enough to be considered as we should see more, and still at all relevant, other than Porkchop, which would be a gag

Also i'm really starting to live for Cynthia, she makes me laugh every episode, and I think (if she makes it) her snatch game is gonna slay. Though everytime i start to stan for a queen other than bob and kim, they get eliminated, so Cynthia will most likely be next to leave

as much as i am not feeling acid betty she really did deserve the praise for her runway.

Don't ruin Her for me.

She ruined herself

i actually started feel a bit sorry for acid betty after thorgy's behind the scenes commentary about her
i actually started feel a bit sorry for acid betty after thorgy's behind the scenes commentary about her

may i ask why?

thorgy wasn't being harsh at all, just stating what was blindingly obvious.

I've seen some people online complaining about using the double elimination to cause drama. Whilst that was the case, neither of them was going to win. Also this isn't just reality TV, this is a reality TV show to find the next Drag Superstar. Also back in season 5 they stuck Coco and Alyssa in the same season for the Dramaz (with a z!)
