Brilliant episode. This season as a whole seems to have been kicked up a gear from last season even down to the Lip Sync songs.

I think Derrik is getting the Miss Fame treatment where the producers give them a longer stay than they should get because they're more of a 'name' outside of the show

 

 

 

So I saw Michael Jackson and Whoopi Goldberg in the preview for next week, I'm hoping Bob pulls out Nene Leaks like I've seen him do on YouTube somewhere (plus that seems like such an obvious 'why has nobody done this yet' character).

 

I have to say, I thought Kim Chi's runway was a bit of a mess this week, the makeup/face paint especially.

That was a good episode! Lucian Piane is just perfect and he should be the other judge instead of Carson/Ross. :wub:

was really feeling her oats during her performance so maybe she slightly should've been saved from the Bttm 2, but if I was the show runner I'd make history and make the Bttm 3 all lipsync. It would be the fairest situation.

I've been watching season 2/3 recently after the first episode with all the winning queens and I can't even at how far this show has come! Like it gets better each season I feel. As for the latest episode there are so many unlikeable characters right now I mean with each season I usually have a favourite in the beginning and I love them all the way till they leave (Adore, Milk, Trixie, Pearl, Max, Katya, Bianca, Ivy, Latrice, Sharon, Jinkx) but with each episode this season my favourite' have changed. In the beginning I loved Cynthia, Kim Chi, Derrick, Betty and Bob but four episodes in and I really can' say the same for the majority of my initial favourites.

 

Current Ranking:

 

 

01. Kim Chi (adorable, cute and always hilarious. Thought she was going to win this latest challenge although her runway look was questionable to say the least)

02. Thorgy Thor (hated her in the beginning but each episode I warm closer and closer to her, especially after discussing her mother's death last week)

03. Chi Chi DeVayne (speaking about her bankruptcy made me empathize with Chi Chi although she is a terrible team player and can't see her lasting much longer tbh)

04. Bob The Drag Queen (Bob just blurs the line between confident and cocky and it's so unflattering at points. He has glimmers but as soon as he shines, he dims. Meh)

05. Naomi Smalls (Not the most talented queen but at least this queen knows how to rock a basic runway look and do it enough not to get eliminated this late in the race)

06. Robbie Turner (What a non-entity, I mean there's potential but is it enough? Not really, I thought he'd be in the bottom two this week, much like Naomi - I think he won't last long)

07. Acid Betty (Happened to be my favourite in the beginning but with all the rumours combined with his extra and narcissistic attitude is a complete turn off. Go home - which by his last runway look is supposedly Mars? Pluto?)

08. Derrick Berry (Drag Queens are there to entertain, all Derrick does is impersonate, sulk and sail through the competition somehow. The worst of a semi-talented pack. Go cry somewhere else)

Untucked got cut off for me so I hadn't seen that part, that's so sweet! Yey Naysha, truly one of my fav queens this season, even though her impact has been minimal

 

 

I agree, after ep 2 I thought Lucian should be the other judge with Michelle, so good

 

I didn't mind Kim Chi's runway, though as much as I hate to say it, I thought Acid's was the best followed by Naysha

Yeah, that was a fantastic episode. Far better than last week's and almost as good as episode 2.

 

The runway and the lip sync were both incredible. As much as I hate her, no one can deny Acid Betty's runway. I would even go as far to say it was one of my favourite looks ever on drag race, it was just so beautifully constructed and so well put together. She completely outshone Kim Chi this week, whose look I actually surprisingly hated - she hasn't been turning it as much as I expected to be honest.

 

I thought that everyone apart from the

Derrick, Naysha, Chi Chi

group did incredibly well. Even at that I agree that

Naysha and Chi Chi had something going for them as Naysha's look was great and Chi Chi probably gave the most out of the three performance wise. Derrick was great at neither and has shown no personality, there is no way that he should have been safe again. I definitely think it is because Derrick was a bit of a name before the show that Ru is keeping him safe and I don't really agree with that. It's obvious that the show is not wanting to damage Derrick's reputation at all but that is allowing him to be mediocre as hell and see good queens go as a result.

 

 

Shame to see

Naysha go home again as she completely slayed that lip sync compared to her first one but Chi Chi is kind of a lip sync juggernaut so it had to be.

 

 

Can't wait for snatch game!

What Naysha did for Chi Chi was sooo sweet, I really hope that puts her in contention for Miss Congeniality, because she really didn't have to do something that kind. Though I suspect if Kim Chi or Thorgy doesn't make top 3, one of them will win it

True actually, I was just going through them, and Chad Michaels is the only queen who I can think of who stayed pretty congenial and made top 3, but there was no way anyone other than the queen of everything Latrice Motherf***ing Royale was taking it that year (who incidentally should have been top 3, but whatever)

I agree, this was a great episode!

Bob is getting a bit of my nerves lately though, she had a really bad attitude as the episode covered :/ There's no need to be like that over a simple comment from a judge. I definitely agree about Derick too, nothing more than a 5th rate Courtney Act really, at least Courtney had other vague talents despite being far from my fave. Derick just looks pretty, comes out and weakly just scrapes by in any given challenge :/

I know Betty has some talent but I don't see how people could see past that horrible, horrible attitude.

I really thought bob would like the new Bianca but she's so far from that. She's not even as funny as I thought she would be. Bianca was arrogant but in a kinda jokey way whereas bob is arrogant and is completely serious about it. I agree he's becoming more unlikeable which is a shame. I love thorgy more and more with each episode, however. She's a complete doll <3

I agree with Pavel, for once! Bob is completely unlikeable and Thorgy is a much more grounded and genuine version of him. Oh and he is actually funny and has far better looks too.

I bet Thorgy will be the Miss Congeniality this year, should be winner though if not Chi Chi.

I agree, I don't see Chi Chi as a contender, as much as I do like her. I think her attitude in team challenges will be her undoing.

 

Still love Bob, I find him tongue in cheek and fun, so I'm still stanning for him to win :lol:
