she really bombs at Snatch Game. Or rudely misbehaves massively during it (I'm thinking Jiggly vs Phi Phi vs Kenya + Detox peeing levels x100).

 

Well... disappointing episode on the whole from what I was expecting to be so much more.

 

 

Naomi absolutely DIDN'T bring it. So disappointed with her Tiffany Pollard and I was pretty disappointed with most of them. I think Chi Chi and Kim were my favourites and neither of them were even categorised top 3 SOMEHOW?!

 

But BYE ACID BETTY. I was expecting her to be KICKED OFF but no, Naomi was definitely better in the lip sync for sure, but there's something a bit underwhelming about her staying when serving so little. Still, not sorry to see bitter Betty go.

 

Runway was disappointing too.

 

Infact, I actually feel quite disappointed at Betty going in the mediocre way she did. She IS better than Naomi, Derrick, etc... not more likeable but, eh, if she was gonna go this early, I kinda wanted EXPLOSIONS or not at all.

OH MY LORD WHAT AN EPISODE!!! SNATCH GAME SLAYED! never disappoints!

 

 

As much as I'm dying for Thorgy to win a damn challenge, think Bob just edged for me, but glad Michelle clocked her about show boating, because we've seen amazing queens in past seasons, get too comfortable, and be sent packing! Really need Thorgy to win next week, she's treading very Pandora Box territory. Thought the top 3 was about right, maybe Kim or Chi Chi instead of Derrick but all 5 were amazing!

 

Onto the fails. Acid definitely right bottom 2. Did like that there was some balance to her this ep, and I warmed to her a little more, having said that, glad she's gone, and that's some big competition out too!! Robbie deserved to survive by the skin of her teeth, because although Naomi's runway was more high fashion, I think in terms of Madonna, Robbie was more original, and well executed. Also Naomi girl, that was SUCH a missed opportunity! How can you be New York, and play it that small! She needs to step up big time now, and I hope she does, otherwise she could be out of the door really soon! BUT! she slayed that lip sync! so good! I thought Acid had it in the bag, and Naomi slayed her! Pretty accurate and happy results this week all in all :)

Say what you will

about Betty but the show suffers a huge loss with her gone. Her runway kept me on the edge of my seat everytime and her little bitchisms I always found entertaining. I really can't see whatever else Naomi has to offer over her except a nice pair of legs.

 

Bob was the right victor but her Carol Channing wasn't better than Pandora's, I wish she did Whoopi instead as we've yet to see it. Same for Derrick, she tried but Tatianna still puts her to shame. I think Chi Chi was my favourite this week, her Eartha Kitt was bonkers good and her runway a glory.

I am really gutted about Betty's exit. Something I thought I'd never say a few weeks back but after that runway last week (which is in my top 3 drag race looks EVER) and how consistently well she had been performing (being top 3 for the first 3 weeks) I really thought she was one of the strongest contenders. She also showed a far nicer and more natural side to her personality in both last night's main show and the last two untucked, so I wasn't thinking she was quite as vile as I had done previously.

 

 

 

Having said that I understand why she did go, even though one poor performance I don't think warrants elimination completely. Naomi and Acid definitely performed the worst this week and Naomi TURNT that lip-sync. That is the Naomi that I want to see everytime - I feel like there is too much self-doubt there and it's holding her back; hopefully her being in the bottom 2 and Robbie telling her that her silhouette is getting very samey and bland on Untucked will give her the kick up the ass she needs. I think she has so much potential but really is letting herself down.

 

 

 

Bob really deserved to win Snatch Game for the record; really could not fault her performance at all. I amen't jumping up and down at her win as I feel like it was very predictable and I am finding Bob's personality to be a tad annoying now (after loving it at the beginning). The showboating thing that Michelle brought up so needed to be said. Having said that, that doesn't take anything from how strong she was again.

 

Part of me is sad Betty is gone. We were starting to see a softer side to her, which could have seen a turn around, and her runway was always on point. But at the same time, she did deserve to go this week, and she was my least favourite based on personality. My only worry now (because they usually keep a "villain" to the end) is that Derrick will now take that role and last a really long time. And I'd have preferred to see Betty take that position because she's far stronger than Derrick imo. I mean Derrick was good this week, but I think he needs to start calling himself the worlds second best Britney impersonator, because his Brit, had NOTHING on queen Tati

I was actually really taken by Chi Chi's performance this week. I really didn't think Snatch Game would be within her comfort zone, but she really pulled out confident, humorous and I preferred her Madonna look by far.

 

Derrick was good and I'm glad she didn't get humiliated with her Britney impersonation, as that would probably be something she'd never recover from but it still wasn't very memorable for me at all, I'd have put Chi Chi higher than Derrick personally. I'd put money on Robbie and Derrick being the next two out.

 

Kim Chi's snatch I didn't have much opinion of, I swear she didn't really get shown enough....

 

Acid was indeed nicer, and I felt a bit sad when she left, but then I remembered her coming for Trixie and was like BYE. And I really haven't like any of Betty's looks that much, they've all been a bit of an eye-sore for me. Naomi was very underwhelming all in all, I really don't see her appeal other than the fact she is STUNNING.

 

What a waste of a Madonna challenge with so many doing the same look!

I spent the entire lip-sync hoping for a double shantay btw. I really felt like this was the time :cry:

Oh definitely. Just an odd choice, in terms of funny though, like Nina is funny in her own way, but i don't think you'd win snatch game playing Nina Flowers, idk, I think I was just surprised, because if she somehow made it to snatch game, I was certain she'd do J Lo and get sent home :lol:

predictable elimination, bottom 2 and winner. i liked the snatch game overall though. naomi really was shit though and deserves to go home for that half-baked (well, she didn't even GET TO THE OVEN) tiffany. it was a disgrace. at least the others, including flaccid bratty, tried. so annoyed kim chi wasn't shown enough in this but the performance they did show was indeed pretty mediocre so i guess it's logical~

 

i have to disagree with all y'all though. derrick's britney was so fun! i need to rewatch tatianna's britney but derrick was really good. 'i would be popular in prison' :lol:

well surely if you had any common sense you wouldn't open the RuPaul's Drag Race thread after the show has aired if you hadn't seen it yet? i mean that's basically asking for it to be spoiled.

 

anyway betty leaving is a huge loss to the competition... her runways were genuinely exciting for me and she has delivered constantly up until now whereas robbie and derrick and even naomi have f***ed up multiple times yet are still around. i am glad naomi stayed however as i feel she hasn't shown her full potential as of yet. bob is starting to irritate me, but i'm still rooting for thorgy, kim and chi chi!

i'd love to see thorgy take the crown but i honestly can't imagine it happening - she just really seems like a runner-up or at best miss congeniality. although, saying this i feel that they're giving thorgy this "i need to beat bob" story arch and maybe the resolution will be thorgy winning the whole show leaving Bob in the dust?? hopefully.
