130. Bright- Echosmith 196,770 11-9-13-21-29-36-40-X

Kicking off the top 130 is Bright by Echosmith which secured their status as not being one hit wonders here! The song originally just missed the top 10 at #11 before sneaking in at #9. The song held quite well and just missed the 200k mark! This means 129 songs passed the 200k mark, the lowest of them being Bebe Rexha's I'm Gonna Show You Crazy which went to #4 in April and is a fabulous pop song and my favourite Bebe track! Next up are 2 collaborations; the first being one of Meghan Trainor's many entries in my EOY this year. Like I'm Gonna Lose You is a beautiful balald that somehow wasn't a massive chart hit and the track would have done much better here if it didn't peak in my chart during one of the most competitive times of the year :( The 2nd collaboration is DJ Fresh's only entry this year in the form of Gravity which sounds like any other Ella Eyre song which is a good thing! The track peaked at #7 here and did well for a dance song.

The Veronicas continued to hold very well with their massive hit You Ruin Me which narrowly missed the top spot on multiple occasions in 2014. It held so well, You Ruin Me nearly beat next single If You Love Someone which was released in 2015. Olly Murs released the 3rd best song of his career (after Busy and Dance With Me Tonight) in the form of Kiss Me which nearly gave him a top 10 hit but stalled at #12 twice. The song did fall quickly after as I started to get a bit bored of it but I still really like Kiss Me. And 13 places higher than Around The World is Natalie La Rose's 2nd and final entry with Somebody which features Jeremih and samples Whitney. The song sneaked into the top 10 and held very well after I originally disliked it when entered to BJSC.

Only 20 copies separated Joseph's fave Lucie Silvas and Joseph's fave Carrie Underwood from each other (and there is only 10 places separating their other 2 entries in this countdown which are still to come)! How To Lose It All was immediately my favourite from Lucie's EP and it stayed around for a long time and just missed the top 10. Hearbeat debuted just inside the top 25 when released as instant grat but zoomed into my top 10 after Carrie's wonderful and beautiful performance of the track on X-Factor. Heartbeat is a beautiful ballad and is still in my top 40. Last of all in this section is Leave A Trace by CHVRCHES which gave them their first top 10 hit here! The song held well and even though I do like it, I much preferred it a few months ago when it sounded amazing to my ears. Now it is just great

#120-#101 probably not now as going to eat and watch TV so I'd guess 9 earliest and 12 latest

120. Body On Me- Rita Ora Ft Chris Brown 222,620 10-18-34-22-15-26-33-X

As we enter the top 20, we see 2 very rare appearances from Chris Brown at the start and end of this section :puke2: On one of the tracks he is really good, on the other one he is terrible. However the one he is good on, Body On Me, is the one I don't like anymore whereas he is terrible on Do It Again but I adore that song. Body On Me sneaked into the top 10 on a busy week against Hailee Steinfeld, Lana Del Rey, Charlie Puth/Meghan Trainor, Sarah Harding and more all debuting in the top 10 on the same week! The song fell quickly but started to recover before falling quickly as I went off it. Do It Again, on the other hand remains marvellous and Pia's vocals are incredible. The song actually charted the same week as Body On Me and despite the low peak, held on fantastically well and I started to love the song even more after it fell out of my chart. Though on topic of Body On Me and songs I don't like anymore, same goes for Ship To Wreck which gets on my nerves nowadays :( However the song had an excellent chart-run by spending 10 weeks top 40 while it only peaked at #20! This kind of seems to be the section of high songs I dislike as I hate I Bet My Life nowadays as I've had a massive U-Turn over Imagine Dragons over the last year. However I still adore the other long runner in this section, Feel The Light by Jennifer Lopez which is the 3rd highest song from the DreamWorks animated movie Home which is one of my favourite movies of the year  Feel The Light is a beautiful ballad towards the end of the movie and Jennifer's vocals are stunning *.* The song missed the top 20 by only peaking at #21 but spent 11 weeks top 40. It was very unlucky to not make the top 40 though due to the fact it spent 7 weeks at either #21 (3 weeks) or #22 (4 weeks).

I heard Geronimo by Sheppard for the first time in ages today in my local shopping centre where it sounded really good. I barely go back to the song but I do really like it and it did pretty well in my charts with 2 weeks top 10. Another song that spent 2 weeks top 10 was Jealous by Nick Jonas- which I love in the original form or the Tinashe version! THe song fell quickly as I got bored of it quickly and even though I don't love it as much as I used to, it is still a fantastic pop song! Another amazing pop songs comes in form of UVLand's new Queens Little Mix with pop jam Weird People which got me so hyped for Get Weird and is actually one of my favourite Little Mix songs yet. The song peaked at #5 and held solidly for an instant grat and I really hope it is the next single because it is just so incredible and fluffy fun! If You Love Someone only just beats You Ruin Me despite being released in 2015 and peaking top 3, it is a a quite good song but nothing great and not really a track I ever go back to. Ella Henderon's next appearance comes courtesy of her top 3 hit with Kygo on Feel For You which held on quite well here! The song is so laidback and chilled and I really like it.

#110-#101 coming in about 20 minutes, top 100-50 later today (Wednesday) and top 50 on Thursday!

110. How Deep Is Your Love- Calvin Harris & Disciples Ft Ina Wroldsen 241,550 6-9-15-12-22-X

Starting off the 10 songs that just missed the top 100 is former couple Calvin Harris & Rita Ora. How Deep Is Your Love has been one of the biggest hits of the year and I loved it on first listen. Even though overplay has tainted my love for it a bit, I still really enjoy listening to it and Ina's vocals are sublime! Just above Calvin is his ex-girlfriend Rita Ora on her collaboration with Sigma- Coming Home- which just missed the top 10 the week it was performed on X-Factor by peaking at #11. I love the song and I kind of wished it made my top 10 as it is a fantastic dance song and a really fun track to listen to. It was #10 in every midweek but missed out on the official chart at the last second to a new song. Dua Lipa debuted at 10 with Be The One about a month ago, and guess which song it threw out of the top ten at the last second?! It was Coming Home! Dua has spent 4 steady weeks in the top 10 with her incredible debut single Be The One which I am in love with at the moment. She should reach the top 100 next year and she is set to reach a new peak of #4 in my chart this week as the Christmas song disappear. Christmas songs also saw Carly Rae Jepsen's Your Type suffer a hefty drop from the top 40 but that isn't showing any sign of recovery in my chart; luckily for Carly, Run Away With Me + I Really Like You are set to go top 20 again! Your Type is another fantastic track from Carly's incredible album E.MO.TION and after hanging around the lower parts of my chart for a few weeks, she sneaked a top 10 week in November. The song is unlucky to miss out on a top 100 placing to a 2014 track!

Oops at Lana Del Rey only having 2 songs top 100 now I Can Fly has dropped out. However I Can Fly has done incredible for a song missing the top 10, especially for a song peaking at #18 to sell 245k is incredible! The track is taken from the fantastic movie Big Eyes and held on very well and re-entered the chart later this year after I finally saw Big Eyes. The song is a beautiful and eventful ballad that is another class track from Lana! I finally adored a Tinashe song this year in the form of the fantastic Player, the chorus is absolutely incredible and by far the highlight of the track *.* After originally missing the top 10, the song peaked at #6 the following week and held quite well! And our first climber from last years EOY is Wizzard with the 2nd/3rd best ever Christmas track with the absolutely amazing and so fun I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday. The Christmas classic shifted an extra 250k this year and peaked 3 places higher than last year at #5!

After only just missing my top 40 chart with Something In The Water last year, Carrie Underwood returned in style this year with country anthem Smoke Break which saw Carrie score her first top 10, let alone top 40, in my chart! The song also held on very well and is already one of my favourite Carrie tracks and I love hearing it  Fifth Harmony's new Halloween anthem I'm In Love With A Monster was another song that debuted at #3 before falling quite quickly! The song still held very quite well though and sold great for a non album track. The track debuted in my top 3 after I saw the incredibly fun Hotel Transylvania 2; this year has been a fantastic year for animation at the Box Office! I'm A Ruin just saw Marina miss out on a 2nd top 10 hit as Blue slightly overshadow it but Marina's stunning ballad held on fantastically for 11 weeks top 40 and 6 of them being top 20! I'm A Ruin is a stunning song and deserved to be a massive hit officially :(

I'll be replying to all comments in about half an hour and I appreciate and love reading them so much

The top 100 will commence tomorrow, however I'll post artists with multiple appearances in a few minutes!

EW at Luke Friend

YAS @ Sammi Sanchez! It's kinda hard to root for her considering "Talk" is her only good song. "Butterflies" is a nonentity and "Bad Habit", the follow-up, is just bad.

Thanks Cody

Knew you'd be happy about Luke Friend :P I've actually not heard the other Sammi songs, tempted to check them out!

Roads- Lawson good effort but not as good as their stuff a few years ago

183. The Heart Gets What It Wants- Selena Gomez 71,280 39-X

184. Chains- Nick Jonas not meeting the Levels and definitely far from Jealous for me

165. American Oxygen- Rihanna 124,100 11-16-24-30-X Rihanna's best effort this year but it's just ok, really shows how far down she's gone this era and that leak in the album thread was :|

166. (10) Only Love Can Hurt Like This- Paloma Faith 123,980 (1,454,270) ....-18-29-34-X-X-X-X-X-X-12-20-X it's Brave pt 2 but this is still quite good :P

154. Light Up In The Dark- Gabrielle Aplin 134,510 33-35-14-16-25-31-X sounds ok, her first three back in 2012 or whenever it was were much better tho

160. Hey Mama- David Guetta Ft Bebe Rexha, Nicki Minaj & Afrojack 126,950 43-15-14-30-X[x10]-21-39-X this can be a little annoying and it's a bit weak for David's standards but I see you are liking this kind of stuff from him :heehee: Nicki's raps aren't that good and I might not have guessed either Guetta/Afrojack produced this :o the male vocal in the start and other places annoys me  the Bebe vocals are quite good tho

Thanks Spun

176. Same :(

165/188. Agreed :(

167. Songpop *.*

154. I prefer Power Of Love/Please Don't Say You Love Me!

156. I know right, did so well from like 5 voters though

159. Shame they split up

Focus is obviously absolutely amazing

Runaway (U & I) & I Loved you & Turn The Music Louder are all good dance tracks, in a year where dance music hasn't been great.

Distant Past is the best song Everything Everything have done.

Heroes was a good winner's track at Eurovisions, even if I preferred Israel & Estonia.

Sledgehammer is another brillaint song ftom Fifth Harmony.

Great countdown so far :)

Thanks Robin

Glad you are liking so much! Also prefer Estonia to Heroes  Israel was the worst this year though (doesn't help when I went for holiday for 2 weeks it was practically played on our coach 20 times a day for 2 weeks and that's not even overreacting :puke2:)

Agreed on Distant Past also!

'Feet Don't Fail Me Now' and 'The Way We Are' are both really good, probably would both just be outside of my Top 100. It's a better year than I remember for music.

Thanks Jack

Same, also forgot till a couple of weeks ago how much I loved from 2015

'Living Without You' *.* actually forgot this even happened this year! I did really enjoy it but it's nothing compared to the stuff on her album. I hear N-Dubz are returning though so hopefully more Tulisa to come in 2016 <3

'Hey QT' i HATE sorry :puke:

Nice appearances from Olly Murs and Bebe Rexha :D

Thanks Haus

Same! Hopefully N-Dubz release some good music! And glad you are liking Olly/Bebe

Hi UV,

I partically love Lily Allen, Rhodes, Foxes, Lana, Carly, Olly, DJ Fresh, Echosmith, CHVRCHES and Carrie :cheer: :music:

136. Peanut Butter Jelly- Galantis 176,080 30-26-24-31-18-23-31-X

137. Around The World- Natalia La Rose Ft Fetty Wrap 175,730 5-12-26-X Both Natalie songs have been great this year

137. Agreed

Love seeing "Be Right There", Kelsea    and many more on there!

YES I am also hyped for that N-Dubz return!

Thanks Cody and glad you are loving Diplo and Kelsea

'Do It Again', 'Body On Me' & 'Jealous'

'Get Weird' is a fun album track too!

Thanks Haus and glad you are loving quite a lot of the songs

HI UV,

Espically like Florence  Marina, Calvin, Imagine Dragon and Nick Jonas

Thanks Harry and glad you are liking a lot, still more Florence to come

This Charlie Puth stanning <3

It feels weird to see no Saturdays around.

some good songs here as to be expected. How Deep Is Your Love should be at least 100 places higher though :drama:

and I see you're one of the many wrong people who think Do It Again is better than Body On Me

looking forward to the top 100

Peanut Butter Jelly, Gravity, You Ruin Me, Ship To Wreck, Weird People, Jealous, Here For You, Do It Again, Coming Home, I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday and Your Type are all great!

Ghost and Don't Be So Hard On Yourself are two of the best tracks of their respective years, I'll start doing my top 100 of all-time but I think both should get a spot on that list.

I'm sick of How Deep Is Your Love, I dislike I Bet My Life (I mean, is this the best you can do after Radioactive and On Top Of The World?) and Around The World is terrible.

99. We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off- Ella Eyre 266,390 9-5-12-23-38-X

100. (8) All About That Bass- Meghan Trainor 266,350 (1,658,120) ....-13-14-21-16-21-26-27-29-34-38-33-32-X

Starting off my 2015 top 100 is Meghan Trainor's gigantic hit All About That bass which was top 10 last year. It is still an amazing and fun pop song that I listen to regularly. The 2nd pre 2015 track of 7 in this section belongs to Ella Eyre who only debuted in 2015 with her cover of We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off after it was covered on X-Factor. Ella's version is beautiful and reached my top 5! We also see double Taylor Swift here in the form of deluxe album track Wonderland and future single Out Of The Woods. Out Of The Woods appears first at #98 and should make it 3 years in the top 100 next year as expect it to get a big boost due to the video being released tomorrow. The song peaked at #2 in 2014 and #15 in 2015, how high can it get in 2016? Wonderland peaked at #10 in the first week of the year and held on excellently for a deluxe album track. I love both tracks, especially Out Of The Woods which is stunning  We also double Leona in this section with Christmas classic One More Sleep & album track I Got You. One More Sleep passes the 500k mark this year as it reached a new peak at #4 and I Got You debuted at #2 before falling quickly. I do like I Got You but it deserved a low top 10 peak at best!

Little Mix's 1st of 3 top 100 entries comes in the form of new single Secret Love Song which features Jason Derulo. This is such a stunning ballad and Perrie's vocals on the chorus are just perfect *.* The song should do massive numbers in my chart in 2016 after debuting at #6 this year and has held on very well despite a steep 2nd week drop. Another steep 2nd week drop came in the form of Lucie Silvas' classic What You're Made Of which fell 17 places after reaching my top 10. I have loved this track for years but never knew what it was until Joseph told me which saw it enter my chart! The song is such a beautiful ballad and held on/sold very well here. Then we have 2 songs released in the same busy week in the form of Samantha Jade's jam Shake That and Charli XCX's HOW WAS IT NOT A SINGLE Need Ur Luv! Shake That is such a fun bop and went top 3, giving Smanatha Jade her top 40 and Need Ur Luv is absolutely incredible and such a missed opportunity for a single :( It is produced by one of the Vampire Weekend members I think and Charli's vocals + the production are amazing

89. Half The World Away- Aurora 311,860 5-7-9-15-30-34-X

90. Boys Like You- Who Is Fancy Ft Meghan Trainor & Ariana Grande 296,160 1-5-15-....

Starting our 2nd section in the top 100 is Meghan Trainor once again, this time with the help of Who Is Fancy & Ariana Grande with the recent #1 Boys Like You. I do really like the song and Meghan + Ariana sound great on it but it is getting a bit old already and is falling so quickly. It is set to go 1-5-15-31 in midweeks so oops at it going to #1. Aurora's dull John Lewis cover is nice but got boring very quickly as you can tell by some of the big falls it had! More recent hits in this section, the next from Zara & MNEK's surprise dance smash Never Forget You which is a fantastic track and Zara sounds fantastic on this. Expect a big 2016 for Zara starting with the incredible Lush Life *.* I think Never Forget You is the 2nd or 3rd highest song to not go top 10 this year so it has done fantastically well with 11 weeks top 40 and only peaking at #15! The next recent hit in this section comes from new King of the charts Shawn Mendes and Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello (who's group is 1 place higher than her collaboration, more on that further down) with the excellent duet I Know What You Did Last Summer. Both of their voices are excellent and I love the song, it peaked at #4 last month and has held well since! And the last recent hit comes from our 2nd highest BJSC entry here (I think) with Frankie's pop jam New Obsession that peaked at #2 and held amazingly well for a BJSC Entry! I wish it did better in BJSC though :(

Now onto some of the older hits, despite having 3 songs top 100, Leona Lewis' final song comes in at a poor #87 in the form of Fire Under My Feet which is a very good track but not the song Leona should have led this campaign with! The song peaked in the top 5 and held well. LA Love and Worth It both charted on streaming before peaking top 3 this year and I love both of them. Worth It is such a jam, the middle 8 *.*, and peaked at #2. I still listen to it often and love it! L.A. Love is a mess but a fun and great mess which I also love and it was fantastic to have Fergie back which saw this peak at #3! Sia's ALLLLLLLLLLLIIIIIIIIIIIIVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEE at #82 as she somehow edged out Jessica Mauboy, Beyonce & Charlie Puth at the last second to peak at #2 with her great comeback song. Sia's vocals are incredible as usual and she has one more entry remaining! And last up in this section is the gigantic official chart hit and Michael Jackson-like fantastic Can't Feel My Face by The Weeknd which spent 5 weeks top 10 (and peaking at #7) before it became a big hit officially. It did start to get a bit boring when it became massive, explaining the big falls towards the end of the run, but it is still a great song and one of the best big hits this year![/cover]

80. See You Again- Wiz Khalifa Ft Charlie Puth 343,450 17-8-5-8-8-13-25-34-X[x13]-27-33-X

Just beating bit hit Can't Feel My Face is even bigger hit See You Again which is from Fast And Furious 7 and is the 1st of 3 appearances for Charlie Puth in the top 100! The song is dedicated to late actor Paul Walker and is a beautiful tribute with fantastic vocals and lovely lyrics. The song did very well in my chart and spent for weeks top 10, including a top 5 peak. Cody's favourite Zedd makes his only appearance with fellow Cody favourite Selena Gomez on the slightly generic but fun and fantastic I Want You To Know which went top 3 here and also spent 4 weeks top 10. The song sold exactly 350k and I still listen to it a lot as it is such a fun track! Sia's last entry for 2015 appears a couple of places above her other entry with Elastic Heart zooming into #78. Originally from the Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack, this version features just Sia and did very well in my charts by spending 2 weeks top 10 and re-entering loads of times which led to a long chart-run. I love the song and it originally debuted at #11 but found my top 10 a lot quicker than it did officially!

Rita Ora's up next as we still wait impatiently for her 2nd album, I loved Poison when it was released and she only just missed out on the top spot to Tove Lo who is still to come! The song held on quite well and spent 3 weeks top 5 to become her biggest solo hit I think in UVLand (I Will Never Let You Down deserved to do so much better than it did though!). Mariah's Christmas classic and obviously the best Christmas track of all time fell a few places from last year but peaked 2 places higher in 2015 and increased its sales by 20k from last year meaning she is just shy of 700k! The song did fantastic this year spending 8 weeks top 40 and 3 weeks top 10, easily the best Christmas song  And Lana's penultimate appearance comes from the lovely Big Eyes from the movie of the same name. The song somehow sold 900k in my charts after debuting at the top in December 2014 and it held on very well throughout the start of the year.

Ella Eyre's 2nd appearance is from the fantastic Good Times which is practically the same as any other Ella single. The song looked originally to flop in my charts before release but it ended up doing great by debuting top 5 and hold on pretty well! Another movie song next, this time from Meghan Trainor and the absolutely joyous Better When I'm Dancing which deserves to be a massive chart hit. The song is so fun and is from Snoopy & Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie which I saw yesterday and loved and expect the song to maybe go top 10 this week after getting a massive boost because of how much it is used in the movie  Army is basically Explosions but better in my view, a really nice typical Ellie ballad which after starting slow, climbed massively into the top 5 because of her excellent Children In Need performance which should have had a big effect in the real charts and Army eventually peaked at #4. The song is now being used on the ITV adverts! And Brade favourite Cool Kids zooms into 71st after finishing 104th last year based on 1 week of sales. The song reached a high of #6 this year, two places lower than its peak and held on great. I still adore listening to this excellent track as Cool Kids is amazing

SLAY Lucie and Carrie! Hard to pick out many other favourites because most of the songs here are excellent but g'won Mariah :cheer:

This section nicely splits into the latter half being early year hits and the higher section being later year hits as we lose two more number #1 hits!

The first of those appear at #70 as I finally became persuaded to become a Marina & The Diamonds fan this era after hearing Froot! Blue was easily the highlight and it is such a fun pop song and the lyrics are fantastic. The song debuted in the top 40 before climbing to the top spot 3 weeks later. The incredible video saw the song re-enter a few weeks later for a while and the song is just shy of 400k! The other number one is from Muse with rock anthem Psycho which is one of the best songs they have ever released. Psycho shot straight to the top at #1 but had a record drop in its 2nd week to #17 as my over-reacted love faded in the 2nd week. However the record drop would be beaten by Glee in the next 2 weeks so it didn't hold that record for long! Psycho then held on well after that and is such an anthem so I am really excited to hear it live! In between the two number 1's is Paloma's ballad Leave While I'm Not Looking from the deluxe edition of A Perfect Contradiction and the track did very well! The song finally reached a peak of #9 late into its run after hovering lower down the chart for about 10 weeks and held on quite well afterwards which saw the song pass 450k! Isa is at #66 with her Shake It Off cover, Don't Stop which because of its may similarities to Shake It Off, I absolutely adored the track and it spent 4 weeks top 10 with a peak of #5 and is the first song to be certified gold this year! It's my favourite Eurovision related entry this year as it was in Melodifestivalen and I discovered this incredible track through Plug *.* It would have had a better chart-run and higher here if the song was on any of iTunes/Spotify/Apple Music but as it is not, I could only listen to it on YouTube which I don't use very often so I didn't hear it as much as I'd like :(

Let's forget FourFiveSeconds got anywhere near #67 here and I have no clue how it did that well considering the song is so so poor. Probably because I was still just desperate for new RiRi.

Paloma is also at #65 as we see ANOTHER Movie song in the form of the beautiful The Crazy Ones from Miss You Already which I really want to see. The Crazy Ones started quite slow but eventually jumped to a peak of #10 where it held for 2 weeks (nearly 3) and has had a very solid chart-run since! The song is so beautiful and this ballad is heartbreaking. One place is above is another beautiful recent ballad from Jess Glynne with the Children In Need single Take Me Home that became Jess' highest peaking song at #4 (but not her highest song in this countdown!). Take Me Home has done very well and it really is just beautiful. Time to pick up the mood of the songs with Ellie's wonderful pop anthem Something In The Way You Move which sounds like it a 1989 track tbh and it should've have been the lead single in my opinion. The song oozes joy and fun every time I hear it and after looking like it would peak at #11 after about 8 weeks in my chart, the song leapfrogged to #4 but has fallen quickly since as it is starting to lose a tiny bit of its magic! Foxes is next with the only song this era that isn't shit and compares to the quality of Glorious, actually it is probably my favourite Foxes track! The song debuted and peaked at #2 but fell quite quickly due to an incredibly busy market but still did great! Body Talk is such good pop and an amazing listen. And finishing this section, we go back to slow songs with One Call Away by Charlie Puth. The song had massive opening sales (I think around 100k) but had to settle for #5 because of Jessica Mauboy/Little Mix/Beyonce/Sia all releasing or being in their 2nd weeks! One Call Away held on really well here and I hope it can become a chart hit at some point as it is fantastic!

#60-#51 coming in next 1/2 hour. May also do 50-46 (going in 5's from top 50) and 45-41 later if anyone is interested
