December 11, 20159 yr Author Hi Harry Was really shocked by how good Drones was, I was never a fan of them at all before that but it was really high energy and fun, some of the slow songs kill the vibe a bit but a very good listen nonetheless and I'm definitely a converted fan now to the point where I'm anticipating the next treat we get to hear from them. I love Every Open Eye loads, it doesn't really progress from the first and in that way it kind of sounds like a re-release with an extra CD added on but it definitely works for them, they worked on making the hooks even catchier, kept all the gorgeous synths and Lauren's fantastic voice sounds even better on it so for me, it's definitely an improvement on their debut :D Lovely albums here, are you sure you didn't just re-order my list though? :P Hi Josh, Feeling the drones love, I was really surprised by it too  YASSSSS Every Open Eye  Nope I didnt :kink: Thank you for the comment Josh Muse had a pretty amazing year as well, at least on alternative formats :P I'd say "Dead Inside" is the best on their album. Hi Cody, They did  Dead inside is good not amazing Thanks for the comment :D

December 12, 20159 yr Author Harryflynn0908's Top 40 End of Year: Album Top 40 10 Years & Years - Communion http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k150/Harry_Flynn/Cover%20sleeves/71aBgoVRQHL._SY355__zps9g6eh8ls.jpg Why: Years & Years have managed to create such a diverse album that every track is different. For example 'Take Shelter' is tropical house pop and 'Eyes Shut' is a slow ballad that is stunning. There is something for everyone I genuinely beleive that. Album Chart Run: Years & Years – Communion [1-2-4-4-6-6-6-7-7-9] (10 Weeks) Singles Chart Run King [37-28-16-9-6-4-5-7-10-13-16-31-40] (13 Weeks) Shine [40-36-23-19-10-8-6-7-11-14-17-21-26-34] (14 Weeks) Years and Years – Eyes Shut [15-7-9] (3 Weeks)* Album Highlights 1. Rudimental go from strength to strength on this album. One of the best Drum N Bass makers imo. I love also how they want to find new tallent. First John Newman and Ella Eyre and now we have Anne-Marie and Will Heard Album Chart Run: Rudimental – We The Generation [1-1-2-3-4-5-6-6-7] (9 Weeks)* Singles Chart Run Never Let You Go [36-36-40] (3 Weeks) Lay It All On Me [37-29-21-35] (4 Weeks) Album Highlights 1. So when we first got new materail with Your Body is a Weapon I was very happy. Then in this year we got Greek Tragedy which was amazing and just a underrated gem in both my chart and the year. Then there second single Give Me A Sign. Just this whole album for me screams Underatted. December 12, 20159 yr shocked to see Rudimental this high, thought the general consensus is that is was a bit bad compared to their previous. For me anyway it just felt very samey even though all of the tracks were 'nice', I got a bit bored with the less exciting tracks. Not been as massive on Y&Y as everyone has been this year either, they seem to have blown up but I just like them. I like Olly's voice a lot but I don't think they utilise it well and some of the tracks were just a bit uneventful that stop me from really likign them.

December 13, 20159 yr Author Harryflynn0908's Top 40 End of Year: Album Top 40 07 Mumford and Sons - Wilder Mind http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k150/Harry_Flynn/Cover%20sleeves/e9a9f27d-c150-4787-9cd1-c7cdba30efd0_zpsnehlpbtg.jpg Why: This was Mumford and Sons's third studio album so I was hyping to see what they would do. I was concerned when I heard they ditched the banjos for a more of a Coldplay/Elbow sort of vibe. Basically more of a band type of vibe. However when i first heard Believe I found it was really good. The album hyping continued from their. Their singles might not be as good as the singles from their other albums but that doesn't matter. They have changed their sound for them to be able to grow as a band and gain a new fan-base. Album Chart Run: Mumford & Sons – Wilder Mind [1-1-2-2-3-5-5-6-6-7-8-8-9-10-x-8x78] (16 Weeks) Singles Chart Run Believe [35-24-20-14-10-13-13-13-18-23-31-39] (12 Weeks) The Wolf [33-27-27-32-39] (5 Weeks) Ditmas [40-29-33] (3 Weeks) Tompkins Square Park [35-25-13] (3 Weeks)* Album Highlights 1. Circa waves have always been the essence of summer for me. Ever since I heard their track get away. Since then they have been making these summer indie jams that just want to take you to a beach whenever you hear them. If you have not heard T-Shirt Weather I URGE you too. Such a bop and a half. Album Chart Run: Circa Waves – Young Chasers [1-2-2-3-6-8-9-9-7-9-10] (11 Weeks) Singles Chart Run T-Shirt Weather [36-23-19-15-5-3-1-3-6-9-14-16-21-26-31-37] (16 weeks) Stuck In My Teeth [39-30-15-1-1-2-4-6-9-13-14-19-21-23-28-31-36] (17 Weeks) My Love [34-24-18-13-10-15-23-28-31-33] (9 Weeks) Album Highlights 1. December 13, 20159 yr Excellent to see the Rudimental album in your top 10. Agreed it was nothing on their debut but yielded some great tracks like Never Le t You Go and Too Cool. Bringing Ella Eyre to the forefront I will always be thankful for, although I have to correct you on Will Heard it was Klangkarussell with Sun Don't Shine that got his name out there initially :P (great tune that mind)
December 13, 20159 yr Years & Years  didn't quite make my top 5 of the year but it did go to #1 in my albums chart, quite good.
December 13, 20159 yr Hi Harry Lovely to see some more M&S love on here, everyone seems to have just suddenly gone off them but this is their best album yet imo. I like their new chilled sound more so definitely a new fan-base member here. Just kind of forgot to go back to Young Chasers (the album). Still a massive fan of the pure summer-ness of all of their singles but remember the album just not being massively exciting and I didn't give it another go. Should probably go back to it..
December 13, 20159 yr Communion was quite a great album but Rudimental's one I haven't been interested in streaming as I wasn't that struck on the singles this era :(
