It had a rather underwhelming run compared to previous album Demi but it managed to achieve a higher peak. It's followed by an album that just missed #1 on two separate weeks. Shawn Mendes has had three top 10 hits in my singles chart including a #1 with The Vamps but unfortunately he couldn't take the album to #1. It had a good run following that though, including a later re-entry. Ellie Goulding hit #1 recently with Delirium and its chart run looks worse than it actually should be, having been pushed down heavily by the likes of 1D, Justin, Conrad and Troye :drama: Adele suffered the same fate unfortunately, 25 would've had two weeks at #1 at most times of the year! What did manage a week at #1 though was Ciara, who surprised me with how good her sixth album Jackie was. I've been a fan of Ciara's since the start but Jackie was better than I expected for sure. Highlights include the sublime Give Me Love, and the club anthem One Woman Army.
December 4, 20159 yr Love all of those  Demi's album is excellent and I adore Shawn's album so badly- both will be very high for me! (as so will 25 and Delirium)!
December 5, 20159 yr Delirium is a lovely pop album, gutted that everyone just seems to hate it because it's all poppy stuff because it's still really catchy. I think it goes way faster than Halcyon which everyone seems to love. On My Mind and SITWYM are two of her best songs ever as well. Enjoyed Confident way more than I thought I would, I put off listening to it for a while but it's got some really nice pop singles on there, she definitely made two not great choices as lead single, Cool for the Summer especially is really quite bad imo.. Wanted to like Handwritten more than I did because Stitches is SO good but it was all a bit boring, I like his voice a lot and it's very unique which was the best thing about it really but I was waiting for the album to be over so I could listen to something else. I haven't listened to 25 yet, I do want to listen to it when she decides to put it on Spotify but not gonna spend money on it when it'll likely be usual Adele and that wasn't that interesting in the first place anyway... Great stuff so far Joseph! Edited December 5, 20159 yr by Josh.
December 6, 20159 yr Even though we don't have very much Dance music in common there are actually some pop and female and some boy band songs we both like so I'll look forward to this :P Looking at your cover I'd like the Conrad, LM, JB, Taylor Swift, Charli XCX and of Course Carly to do well please  Hold Me Up was a great BJSC entry for you! Worked rather well despite being a polar opposite of Firestone  I don't listen to albums that much but a lot of the ones you've listed are great! Including: Delirium: easily my favourite from her and so different to the quality of her others Get Weird: kind of the same thing here. Great album! Y&Y, 5H, Tove, Ellie and Charli XCX fab albums too :D 1989 was stunning and even better than Red which was great! Carly's one was amazing unsurprisingly and probably in my top 5 of the year! Edited December 6, 20159 yr by Adam's Satsuma🙁
December 6, 20159 yr I am totally unaware of most of these albums, oops. Although LM's is kinda shit and Ciara's was shcokingly awesome.
December 8, 20159 yr Author Thanks for the comments guys! Really enjoying reading what you guys think of these albums. Josh - Handwritten sadly is more boring than I'd have wanted following Something Big and Stitches, but it's a nice listen now and then. Kid In Love and A Little Too Much are lovely also

Breathe Out. - 1-1-2-1-3-4-2-5-7-8-10-11-15-X (13 weeks) 14 Selena Gomez - Revival - 1-2-4-7-9-14-13-15-… (8+ weeks) 15 Union J - You Got It All - The Album - 1-3-4-5-7-11-13-15-15-X (9 weeks) This is where the quality really steps up now. Union J's second album, despite a dreadful title, was a big improvement on their debut, and it's a shame it did so much worse officially. Selena's Revival was highly anticipated by me after the incredible Good For You and it didn't disappoint, I think it's my favourite album of hers to date actually! And we go from one Disney girl to another now, with Hilary Duff's album being a big surprise for me earlier in the year. I didn't expect to be all over it like I was at the time! My Kind and Night Like This are two of her very best  Charli XCX's SUCKER album took not just a couple of listens, but also a live gig to properly click. I wasn't fussed on one listen, then it grew slightly but her tour made it click hugely. Need Ur Luv and Caught in the Middle are my two non-single highlights. Finally, an album that was top 10 until I realised I'd forgotten something, Carrie Underwood's Storyteller keeps up her strong album record, packed full of really good songs. Top 10 coming up next :o Any ideas as to what's still to come? Teaser: 2015 was a very male dominated year and as a result, only two female albums appear :o
December 9, 20159 yr Like all but Charli XYZ ha only good songs recently are Boom Clap and Superlove :puke: to all the rest of ha songs this era Edited December 9, 20159 yr by MerryFlynnmas

I eagerly anticipated the sophomore 5SOS album, after how good their self-titled debut was last year, and it really didn't disappoint. Lead single She's Kinda Hot is probably my favourite track on there but other highlights include upcoming single Jet Black Heart, as well as album tracks Permanent Vacation and Broken Home. http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/MeghanTrainor-Title.png 9 Meghan Trainor - Title - 1-1-1-1-2-4-4-3-4-4-5-5-5-3-1-1-3-4-6-7-8-9-10-12-15-15-X-15-13-9-10-13-X (31 non-consecutive weeks) Top 40 hits from the album 05 Dear Future Husband - 9-5-8-12-9-10-19-27-33-X (9 weeks) 08 All About That Bass - 39-39-34-29-24-17-15-18-21-24-32-38-X-8-13-31-X (15 non-consecutive weeks) 10 Lips Are Movin - 10-16-26-33-X-25-16-29-X-23-32-X (9 non-consecutive weeks) 16 Title - 34-16-21-23-35-X (5 weeks) 36 Bang Dem Sticks - 36-X (1 week) 37 Like I'm Gonna Lose You (feat. John Legend) - 38-37-X (2 weeks) Meghan Trainor's debut album was not one I expected to love quite as much as I do. I really liked All About That Bass and Lips Are Movin was a fab follow-up but I didn't expect the album to be quite so strong, or that I'd end up seeing her live! The album is a perfect pop album, with my main non-single highlight being the incredibly fun Bang Dem Sticks and the title (lol) track. Every track is packed full of hooks and it's such a shame that Radio 1 have already seemingly abandoned her.
December 9, 20159 yr Hi Joseph Revival is her best album for me too, loved her new rnb direction but still good pop hooks but with more of an edge, works with her limited voice really well too. Hands to Myself would make a good next single if the rumours are true. Big fan of Title so glad to see it have such a good run here, love her doo-wop sound and she has a great amount of charisma which allows her to pull of slow ballads and cheeky uptempos as well. LAM is her best for me still. Lovely stuff
December 9, 20159 yr Carly Rae & Charli in the albums <3 both very good and should feature in my own album chart (altho the former is too low!!!!)
December 9, 20159 yr Sucker (especially Need Ur Luv of the non singles) and Storyteller are fantastic and I also like Revival  Title is also amazing and I love every song from that album
December 9, 20159 yr I still think "Hey Everybody!" is the best single but "Money" is the best on the album - it's so early 2000's punk it hurts.
December 10, 20159 yr Author Albums http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/Lucie%20Silvas%20-%20Letters%20To%20Ghosts.png 8 Lucie Silvas - Letters To Ghosts - 1-1-1-1-1-4-5-6-7-9-10-12-9-11-13-… (15+ weeks) Top 40 hits from the album 01 Happy - 1-3-7-10-13-16-23-30-35-X (9 weeks) 01 Letters To Ghosts - 3-2-1-3-7-12-16-22-20-26-34-X-27-35-X (13 non-consecutive weeks) 03 You Got It - 3-5-12-27-33-X (5 weeks) 05 Roots - 5-9-15-20-X-17-27-35-X (7 non-consecutive weeks) 13 Shame - 13-23-33-X-19-25-32-X (6 non-consecutive weeks) 25 Smoke - 25-38-X (2 weeks) 28 Unbreakable Us - 28-38-X-38-X (3 non-consecutive weeks) 32 Find a Way - 32-X (1 week) 35 How To Lose It All - 35-38-X (2 weeks) This is a slightly strange one for me to rank. In one form or another, I knew EVERY song on the tracklist of this album before its release  Didn't stop me enjoying it lots of course, and it really is a superb album. Lucie kept us waiting 8 years for this album and in that time, I paid close attention to any demos she teased, any live performances posted, and of course her self-titled EP from early this year. Through these means, I heard every one of the 11 tracks on there before its September release lol. Smoke was a particular favourite of mine from years ago (before my chart started, would've charted back then no doubt!), alongside Find a Way which I had a live recording of. I think the long wait for the album is the only thing letting it down though, meaning my hype had kinda fizzled out by the release, but it's still really good and Lucie's cemented herself as one of my favourite artists ever. http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/One%20Direction%20-%20Made%20In%20The%20A.M..png 7 One Direction - Made In the A.M. - 1-2-3-… (3+ weeks) Top 40 hits from the album 01 Drag Me Down - 1-1-2-2-3-3-3-4-2-5-6-10-11-16-20-16-21-26-... This may look very low for a 1D album and you'd be right in thinking that, cause it *is* quite low. Made In the A.M. is probably their second weakest album for me to date (only ahead of Midnight Memories). Sadly, it lacks uptempos which are the speciality of 1D really. However, there's plenty to enjoy and it earns its #7 spot here despite all that. Drag Me Down is the closest they've come to rivalling What Makes You Beautiful for me
December 10, 20159 yr Author Lol at "Drag Me Down" not being considered an uptempo I never said there were no uptempos :kink: It just lacks in them, they normally have WAY more uptempos, this album is more midtempo overall ~
