Posted December 4, 20159 yr This week's extended musings are available from the front page and the latest news box. Yes, some of it was written for last week and has been revived, slightly revamped in one case, for this week :D
December 9, 20159 yr Simon, (Suedehead2),you said this in your Chart Commentary. "The only other act to have songs at numbers one, two and four in the same chart is Frankie Laine, who achieved it in 1953". Why it is wrong:, 1)... Frankie Laine never managed to have the No.1, No.2 & No.4 positions at the same time. 2)... The closest he came was on W/E 24th October 1953 - No.1, No.3 & No.4. 3)... So Justin is the 1st Act since the UK Singles Chart began, (November 1952), to achieve it. Which he has done in 2 successive Charts. Frankie Laine & Justin Bieber are the only 2 Acts who've achieved 3 Top 4 Hits in the same Chart. Both of them did it for 2, (successive), Weeks. FRANKIE LAINE (W/E 17th October 1953) No.2 - I BELIEVE No.3 - HEY JOE No.4 - WHERE THE WIND BLOWS FRANKIE LAINE (W/E 24th October 1953) No.1 - HEY JOE No.3 - WHERE THE WIND BLOWS No.4 - I BELIEVE @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ JUSTIN BIEBER (W/E 3rd December 2015) No.1 - SORRY No.2 – LOVE YOURSELF No.4 – WHAT DO YOU MEAN? JUSTIN BIEBER (W/E 10th December 2015) No.1 – LOVE YOURSELF No.2 - SORRY No.4 – WHAT DO YOU MEAN? Edited December 9, 20159 yr by zeus555
