At #129 we have the late Jermaine Stewart with Get Lucky. It spent a few weeks in my top 100 at the beginning of the year, eventually making the top 40.

Unfortunately this great track can only be found on the deluxe edition of the album. And subsequently stands no chance of becoming a single. Oh well.

Glad we both agree on Dumont's best track. Won't Look Back is one of my favourite songs of all time :D

Like all songs this section apart from Light house :D

I'm glad you're liking most of them!

I've fallen a bit behind on these :kink: but I'll full comment when you've posted the next recap :D already seeing some great tunes!!

The next recap will be when I get to #101.

Loving the Florence songs here Taylor!!

Unfortunately I can't post any legit videos from YouTube. Stupid copyright!

Glad we both agree on Dumont's best track. Won't Look Back is one of my favourite songs of all time :D

It was really saddening to see it fall down the chart at a comical rate. I really wish it had got to number 1 (the fact Prayer In C is utterly abominable doesn't help matters either).

Thanks for commenting everyone!

#126: Kygo featuring Parson James - Stole The Show

Year of release: 2015

Chart Run: {27-17-24-20-15-16-18-23-31-50-57-75-68-68-86-98}

Peak: #15

Weeks on top 100: 16

Kygo makes his first of three appearances with Stole The Show. While it isn't as good as Firestone or Here For You, it is still a very good song and one I wish had done better in the official chart.

#125: Meghan Trainor - Dear Future Husband

Year of release: 2015

Chart Run: {78-x-56-88-x-70-68-x-48-85-58-45-38-34-29-20-25-28-38-47-75}

Peak: #20

Weeks on top 100: 18

At #125 we have Meghan Trainor with Dear Future Husband, a song (quite unfairly) hated by this Buzzjack. When I listened to the album, this was the clear standout and I was overjoyed when it became a single. It's really catchy, and despite the lyrics not being great, it really din't deserve finishing in third on the Hate Chart of 2015. Seriously, are you implying Atrocious Yucky Offensive is better than this?

#124: David Guetta feat. Emeli Sandé - What I Did For Love

Year of release: 2014

Chart Run: {13-22-28-50-70-x-100-89-72-66-49-27-33-45-53-62-71-84-100-95-53-66-75-65-82-87-90}

2015 Peak: #27

Weeks on top 100 in 2015: 21

2014 EOY: #123

At #124 we have David Guetta and Emeli Sandé with What I Did For Love. I find this to be the best song from David Guetta's Listen era, although Dangerous and Lovers On The Sun are both excellent aswell. Unfortunately he followed this by the awful Hey Mama, before ruining Bang My Head with a poor production and Fetty Wap.

#123: James Bay - Hold Back The River

Year of release: 2014

Chart Run: {18-19-20-22-25-24-27-28-27-29-32-25-23-24-27-27-31-40-37-34-34-42-57-66-74-94}

2015 Peak: #23

Weeks on top 100 in 2015: 22

2014 EOY: #162

At #123 we have James Bay with Hold Back The River, which was one of the biggest hits of 2015. Although it did get tiring eventually, it's still an excellent track which spent the first 17 weeks of 2015 in my top 40.

#122: Ariana Grande featuring The Weeknd - Love Me Harder

Year of release: 2014

Chart Run: {17-13-10-5-6-5-6-7-13-15-18-20-26-31-38-52-60-50-49-63-89-x4-89}

2015 Peak: #13

Weeks on top 100 in 2015: 14

2014 EOY: #108

At #122 we have Ariana Grande with Love Me Harder, which unfortunately missed the top 40 altogether. This is actually my second favourite Ariana Grande song (after "Problem") and she hasn't done anything better since. It also earns points for introducing The Weeknd.

#121: Years & Years - I Want To Love

Year of release: 2015

Chart Run: {55-54-48-35-32-26-20-26-25-25-29-31-33-40-44-52-61-70-86-86-94-98-96-96-77-82}

Peak: #20

Weeks on top 100 in 2015: 24

We make a return to songs of 2015, with Years & Years's I Want To Love. It only appears on the deluxe version, and is by far the best of the four deluxe edition songs. Unfortunately it is a bit short, but it's also great. It dropped out this week, although you could very well suggest that without the Bowie effect, it would have stayed in.

#120: The Verve - The Drugs Don't Work

Year of release: 1997

Chart Run: {81-67-x36-90-66-53-47-35-38-37-48-50-68-71-77-80-81-83-84-93}

Peak: #35

Weeks on top 100 in 2015: 17

Next up we have a classic from 1997 in The Verve's The Drugs Don't Work. It was released the day after Princess Diana died, and entered straight at number one before being knocked off by Elton John's Something In The Way You Look Tonight/Candle In The Wind '97.

#119: Nathan Sykes - Over And Over Again

Year of release: 2015

Chart Run: {4-5-16-23-38-51-89}

Peak: #4

Weeks on top 100 in 2015: 5

At #119 we have Nathan Sykes with Over And Over Again. After the pretty bad Kiss Me Quick, I wasn't expecting much, but this is actually really good, although it did descend the chart rather rapidly. I do wish they'd stop trying to make it a massive hit though because that's clearly never going to happen.

#118: Taylor Swift - Shake It Off

Year of release: 2014

Chart Run: {3-6-11-15-16-18-21-25-28-28-34-46-51-55-60-52-51-43-44-56-54-46-60-82-97-x11-14-9-17-29-37-42-55-79-80-74-91-93-89}

2015 Peak: #9

Weeks on top 100 in 2015: 20

2014 EOY: #62

Another 2014 holdover now, it's Taylor Swift with Shake It Off. Although it has now been surpassed as my favourite song by her, it's still fantastic. And in case you were wondering why it got a second lease of life in May 2015, does anyone remember this?

#117: Alesso featuring Roy English - Cool

Year of release: 2015

Chart Run: {4-4-13-16-24-33-42-45-37-44-57-64-76-99-90}

Peak: #4

Weeks on top 100: 15

Alesso had two hits in 2015 (this and Heroes (We Could Be)), both of which borrowed from other songs and both of which went top 10, when both of the songs from which they borrowed stalled at #12, one doing so this week. Cool may use an entire production (that of Kylie Minogue's Get Outta My Way) compared to just a central line (the "we could be heroes" line comes from David Bowie's Heroes), but I personally prefer Cool to Heroes (We Could Be), as unpopular an opinion that may be. Heroes (We Could Be) peaked at #34, while Cool spent two weeks at #4.

#116: Sia - Elastic Heart

Year of release: 2014

Chart Run: {95-81-79-67-61-60-60-52-58-41-42-29-22-29-41-50-47-58-56-69-77-100}

Peak: #22

Weeks on top 100: 22

Sia's Elastic Heart is at #116. I like the song a lot more than a #22 peak would suggest, but unfortunately it fell in the way of stiff competiton and only spent 3 weeks in the top 40. Still, like Chandelier and Big Girls Cry, it is great. Let's not discuss the video.

#115: Muse - Psycho

Year of release: 2015

Chart Run: {81-24-22-23-30-39-50-53-58-57-51-45-14-20-73}

Peak: #14

Weeks on top 100: 15

Muse made one hell of a comeback with this. While the rest of the era wasn't great, this is the best song they have made for quite some time. It peaked at #14 after the release of Drones.

#114: Birdy - Wings

Year of release: 2013

Chart Run: {42-17-12-15-8-4-11-24-33-38-49-45-47-65-94-87-94}

Peak: #4

Weeks on top 100: 17

2014 EOY: #100

At #114 we have Birdy with the fantastic Wings, which got a second lease of life in the official chart after being used in an advert. I was gutted when it had a short chart run back in 2013, so I'm glad it's now had the success it deserves.

#113: Neon Jungle - Braveheart

Year of release: 2014

Chart Run: {55-52-x9-38-27-18-20-23-23-25-31-34-30-30-29-29-31-33-36-31-29-31-34-31-37-36-32-29-23-25-28-31-39-42-51-65-74-76-77-78-86-97-x12-48-65-97}

2015 Peak: #23

Weeks on top 100 in 2015: 17

2014 EOY: #29

The now disbanded Neon Jungle are at #113 with the fantastic Braveheart. For me, this is by far their best (as good as "Trouble", "Welcome To The Jungle" and "Louder" are) and will be the one I will remember them for. Much better than anything Fifth Harmony have made.
